Not all that exciting, but I don't want to be one that hunts low level Padawans all the time, so I took at 226K mark (Darko on Bria). I've been dueling full template guild members for practice and with patch 19, I think I'll have a great chance at being a successful BH. What is strange, I play my BH more than I play my full template Jedi, being the hunter much more fun when you're never being hunted. Its good having a Jedi though, as from a BH perspective, I know the limitations, abilities, and skills. Now for the kill...

After deciding at the terms after getting 6 missions in a row on a Jedi on Kash, or tracking the guy and ending up being the same faction as me, I decided to give a full template Jedi a shot. The very first one to pop up was Darko, checked if he was online, and he was. Grabbed the mission and headed to get bio-sig. Once done, sent the a-droid and it came back Yavin-4. I head straight to the mining outpost, and the guy is standing there surfing the Bazaar. Finding that he is indeed the opposite faction, I examine him just to take a closer look at my mark before I attack. Believe it or not, no saber was equiped. I go prone in the exact same spot I loaded into, and he was around 30m from me... and here is how it went...

Advanced Sniper Shot...

Improved Head Shot...

Ranged Shot... Incapped...

Stands up... Improved Head Shot... Incapped... Deathblow...

I honestly expected to lose this fight, or at least have a good fight out of it,and no way in hell did I expect to have 226K in my bank in a matter of 5 minutes from grabbing the mission. This just goes to show how you can take on any Jedi if they aren't prepared. The guy wasn't afk, because as soon as he died he cloned. I think he was just caught off-guard with the bazaar windows open, an unequiped saber and no Jedi macros going.

I wish I was so lucky! Last time I went after a 200+k mark, I found him hunting on dant, so I used cover to sneak into range and waited til he was in mid fight with 2 mobs and his health was just above half. I hit him with Adv Sniper Shot, and his health drops right down. I start thinking I'm going to 'cap him when he heals back to nearly full health. So after the Head Shot I already had loaded, I hit him with stopping shot, but it doesn't stick, so then I hit him with kneecap to slow him down. By this time he is within 32m so he kd's me with saber throw. By the time I get up, the snare has worn off and he is on me. 2 secs later I'm visiting the cloner and pledging to stick under 200k til I get some decent recce armour.........

lol you do get that the guy could have had 1111 powers 1111 enhancer 0131 LS 1111 defender dont you? becuase he might have been getting ready to respec

Call that successful? Well, its is in a certain point of view.

Thought I would hear a cool story how you killed a fightning full template jedi.

You say you dont wanna hunt padawans, now what is the difference...

Kill alow lvlpaddie in 3 shots or kill a high lvl bazaarchecking not even his ls equip jedi in 3 shots?

Not flaming or meaning any offending, just dont understand your point

Successful = $$$,$$$ in the bank. Good gauge of sucess I'd think. However, I admit I was expecting a good duel.

No, he was full template, he has been around.

Successful, yes. It was a success because I killed an opposite faction Jedi and received the money and the faction for it. If you had the choice between a long drawn out fight, or the element of suprise and money in your bank in a matter of minutes, I think I know what you'd choose. You can't compare me taking a full template Jedi mission before knowing what the outcome was, to me taking a low level paddy.
