I was all ready to drop BH last night, but I wanted to give it one last shot. It was hard to find a mission on line at 1st. I think it was still a little early, but once I found my 1st one online the next 3 out of 5 missions i grabbed were online. The lesson here is don't expect bounties to be online at 1:00 in the afternoon. I know this won't help some people with alternate gaming times, but it works OK for me.

I did a total of 4 missions last night. 2 completed, 1 stalemate, and one running cloaker. The thrill to me was not knowing what to expect once you found your target. It actually got my heart racing not knowing what would be coming at me. I enjoyed the fight with the cloaker most, as the others were either too short or too long. And best of all, no one thought I was singling them out. All I had was a mission. I couldn't be responsible for who was on the other end. And every single one of them was friendly and respectful after the fight. This last part is a refreshing change to me.

There's a lot of issues right now. They really need to get the online/offline thing worked out. Once they do, tho, I think this new system has some potential. I'd feel ok about taking player bounties now, since I feel like I'm just taking a faction-aligned mission, and not singling anyone out.

You know... I don't mind it either. I'm afraid my template isn't very good and I'm not all that good at PVP yet so I wish I could get some non-full temp Jedi but I'm learning. And I did piss one off horribly by blowing up his swoop when he tried to run. He was a real bad sport, though. Calling me pathetic and a noob. But the thing that made me the maddest was that I was incapped and couldn't respond. I kept wanting to say, "I know! I'm learning!"

Oh well... I'll win one some day. Maybe I should drop Smuggler and get rifles instead... since they're probably never going to give smugglers any love anyway.

(But let me earn it by Smuggling)
