Got my mission, went to informant. Launched probe driod.


I find my target on Rori in Restuss (w/e that city is called)


I then follow the arrow to where he is, as I approach him ( he is by the bank terminals) I notice he is Force Meditating... okay.


Then as I come around the corner for the kill.. I notice he is invisible. WOW force cloak...


So the whole point is, he was cloaked and doing force meditate, while he was AFK. Therefore he could go do something, and not have to worry about a BH attacking him, force cloak takes away Force.. but what about when he is Force Meditating, which regens his Force!? Something is wrong with this picture and needs to be fixed. He would have been killed and I would have walked away with my pretty penny (he ended up being m enhancer with other babble). I died.. and the whole 20minutes he was sitting there AFK I could have killed him, easily.

When you see that happen, pull out your swoop, a droid, and agro some creatures into the midst of it. Will drain his force really fast.

how did ya die? He uncloaked so you can fight him?


if so, does that mean this post is not that you died to a Jedi, but that you were not allowed a cheap kill on an AFK player?

I do understand the cloak thing, but just because he was cloaked and meditating does not automatically mean AFK...

Manytimes I am at the bazaar terminals shopping for ship componants, and after awhile of just standing there, I too get the auto-afk tag... But it does not mean I am not looking over my shoulder every 30 seconds.

If I had cloak ability, you better believe I'd be using it to stand at any terminal, and if meditating means I coulkd do it for longer, then I too would be cloaked and meditating when shopping.

What the poster means is... A cloaker should not be able to use any other force powers while cloaked, especially force regen. They can stay perpetually cloaked. The other night, I was in a PvP battle where a cloaked Jedi was using an exploit to attack me while cloaked. If he were not allowed to use any powers while cloaked, this exploit wouldn't happen.


As cloak is, it is way too overpowering. I can track my bounty and as soon as I attack from range, he cloaks and is gone. The jedi then can force regen, pop a bunch of food and hit his Booster Blue... and I no longer have first strike capabilities. It was stated by the devs that what makes a BH able to be 1vs1 with a full temp Jedi is our first strike capabilities. If that is taken away from us... then what do we have?


Bottom line is... a Jedi should not be able to use force powers while cloaked.
