Tanks: A lot of us are looting crap now - is this cyclical, random, or by design?

Random, in my experience anyway. It's like feast or famine. I will get 3 missions in a row that drop CAs, AAS, Crystals and Schematics. Then the next 3-6 missions will drop nothing but a Jar of "insert random item here" and maybe a slicing item.

My loot drops are as good as ever... Have made over 20mil the last 2 nights selling the stuff I looted. Not mention almost have enough BH Armor schems for my 3rd suit! Woot... So I believe it has not changed, and you are just getting a run of bad luck! Sorry bout that bro...

The day before yesterday i got all kinds of good stuff: 20 bh schems, a/s exp +11 ca, 1hd ls speed +14.

Since then ive done maybe 50 missions and gotten nothing but crap.

I figured that such a long dry-spell was indicative of some change. In the same period, none of my m8s have looted anything worthwhile either...

I dunno...

Have you gotten anything good, ie schems or ca's, in the last 36 hours?

Got a couple schematics, a LS Speed CA, color crystal, pistol acc AA, smuggler components, and more... Been better drops for me actually, I used to never loot SEA's...

i believe this is all random.. now i have found that if you carry good loot with you it seems good loot drops more... maybe i'm just superstitiuous though

Yours is light purple too? I looted 3 color crystals all light purple

And no, nothing happened to "lewt", looted +11/+12 mods CA after I looted Jar of Foraged Bugs from previous mark.

I don't know if it's nerfed, but it may be bugged.

I did an elite NPC last night. To avoid vanishing corpses, I hit /loot. I do that with my inventory open, and I can see whatpops into my inventory immediately. I got the following two system messages:

You have completely looted the corpse of all items.

You have looted 414 credits.

The credit message always appears, but the "you have looted all items" message only appears if there are items on the corpse that you looted. I got no items.

make sure it isn't hiding in your inventory... i'v had some freshly obtained loot jump to the middle instead of being on the bottom where it belongs.. also anyone have any marks just dissapear in the middle of a fight? this happened to me twice last night

Happened to me six times last night. Then I had a couple that just vanished as I approached. I did notice that the ones that vanish always seem to either be on Lok or Dantooine..
