Thread: {From a Jedi} I really hope Seeker droids do work on Mustafar. Don't want a Kash repeat.

As a veteran of this game's launch and a jedi since this january, I'd like to say I would hope the developers will have learned from their mistakes and look to correct a highly debated issue.

Of course I"m talking about seeker droid working in instanced zones on the new planet Mustafar.

I have a BH Alt that I use strictly for looting but once or twice I did try to hunt some jedi and I know how frustrating it was to find jedi on kash and have to phsically check each instance. For the sake of the relations between teh BH and Jedi community I would hope that Dev solve the isssues revolving tracking through instances.

Remember one thing. This expansion is being touted as a place for high level players. Kashyyk was made for medium level players and up. So the Jedi who partake in the quests and other content on this planet more than likely will be CL 80. They should be able to defend themselves against a BH at this point. I do not want this planet to become another AFK Jedi paradise. I certainly hope there will be no LIne of Site issues allowing easy exploitation. My opinion on that isssue is that LOS should be removed until they get it fixed for the entire game.

So I have roughly 2.5 months to finish my grind of about 8 mil jedi xp to reach a full 2.5 Jedi Template. I truely hope that new Knight trials and a portion of the FRS is indeed in this expansion. Remember FRS is not a core system, so they can choose to make this part of expansion if they want to. Jedi are not unplayable if they dont partcipate in the FRS. Think of this as the expansion from DaoC that granted skills above master levels. IF you want to be the best, then you go buy the expansion. I know this issue is a heated one.

As far as normal toons go, i really hope there is content via the 50 quests/missions for them. New crafter schematics, maybe a new DWB type dungeon tha requires crafters to partcipate, etc.....

Ok, I"m done, flame on if you must

You obviously have no clue at all what you're saying. The Line of Sight issue was a bug because of the "height" the woshyyr canopy was on, not a newly-implemented feature. Remove LOS? Then nobody could interact with anything in the game..

Yes I do know what i'm talking about. Before the Combat upgrade you could shooot over mountains and other objects as long as your target was withing range. Now if you try to shoot over a hill at your target you will get the LOS error. I know it was a bug, but they added Line of Site to combat to make it more strategic.

I guess I should have said they need to remove the line of site restriction when dealing with natural terrain , such as webweaver canapy path, mountains. ETC.

By the way, have you ever ventured down to the lowest region of the Ryatt trail. THe line of site issues are 100% worse. There are hundreds of spots a jedi could hide in, as you cannot go on the slighest raised piece of land without running into the LOS error.

They "tweeked" LOS. While it was true you could shoot or see through some objects and the terrain, there were restrictions.
