Thread: New BH missions

once i hit master bounty hunter i stopped running regular bounty hunter missions because:


-lack of pay compared to normal missions

-lack of excitement, they're all pretty much the same

-jedi missions offer more interaction (however usually end with you camping outside their house talking with the jedi's body guards)


is there anyway we can push for some changes in bounty hunter missions to offer more excitement, and more risk/pay? here are some ideas to start:


-factioned bounties, high ranking officers being targeted, not only do you have to track him down, but when you arrive you face a small squad of body guards

-targets with pets / mounts / vehicals

-targets that talk/converse, burst run away

-targets dont automatically jump planets when entering a city, rather they hang out in cantinas, hotels, etc.

-missions have several parts or sub missionsto them, much like quests

-ability to take on missions with several goals to them (for example, you have to locate target and destroy, aquire an object the target had, use the object to discover the real master mind behind the crime and seek out them)

-link missions together, similiar to the two above



anyways, just some food for thought to help make our professions defining characteristic more interesting....

I think this is a great idea as I am almost done with MBH and I cant fathom what I will do when I am done. I am so sick of grind INV by killlin NPCs that I dont want to imagine thats all I will have to do for fun once I am MBH.


There arent enough Jedis online to hunt one a day - that will actually stay online and then actually fight you when you get to them.


So ya I am all for more things to do - please - consider it.


Example - Master WeaponSmiths can make more than one type of gun right? Let us hunt more than one target! :-)

Lets get the ones we have working before we try to add more to get broken you know? EQ was really bad about this too. They'd add new content on top of broken content which made a mountain of work to do to fix it all.

Wouldnt it be neat if we could hunt NPC jedi? Maybe even pull more advanced missions at MBH, something like a Mark being in a kind structure like the Nyax Cult Stronghold. You have to defeat all his henchies to get down to him and then kill him for like a bonus of 50-75k. I dunno, just thinking.

NPC Jedi would be a cool idea if the chances of pulling them was less than that of a boss. Of course, since the loot is random, the chance of getting a jar of bugs off of one would definitely exist.


About going through an entire complex of baddies for one guy, we are hitmen and assassins...not mass murderers. Have you ever played the game Hitman? You actually got a better rank by avoiding everyone but your mark...get in, make your kill and get out without attracting attention. It's an interesting idea, but I don't remember seeing any bounty hunters running into a heavily guarded complex with guns blazing just for 1 person.
