I am doing a little research and was curious what are you sporting for your ranged defense. List proffessions if you dont mind.
I am MBH/MPistoleer and have 205 (5 from a mod i think)

How effective is the Force Ranged Defense for Defender. The reason I am asking is because I am regrinding to Master Defender and I want to know what tree to focus on first. I also have Force Armor. I am leaning toward Melee or Ranged Tree for the innate armor. Is innate armor more important than Force Aura. I would think Ranged Defense would be more important again because of BH attacks.

it's ranged defence, force ranged defence was removed few days after the cu was on testcenter.
it's working fine. I had a rifleman hitting me to do some tests and it works great.
the innate armor is all sweet. aura is a must maybe. I don't know anything about valor.
I have Def4440 that gives 54innate jedi armor (45% dmg mitigation) and the worth aura.
With pikatta pie, aura-on a ranged guy can barely hurt me and the infusion is enough to heal the damage.

/improved force aura "for the win" !
plus 500 Defense is better than the ranged defense tree , and you always have thundercloud plus 80 ranged defense if ya need it : )
