Like many, I have gotten tired of all the complaints about loot being broken and never getting anything good from boss marks, and all the rest of the junk that you see on those posts. Over the last week, week and a half, I have been most fortunate with loots. Some bad, some good, but overall I am happy. I got 2 sets of power cells, 6 mediocre and 4 that were really nice. A stack of 5 very nice reinforced casings, weapon scopes, bh schems(even boots), even a crystal or two. Last night I got a CA and a Crystal. But still, all over the forums, people complained of not being able to get anything. Well today I ran 22 missions, and kept a record of what type of mark dropped what. So settle in, cause here it is.

Now the point of all this is not to brag, but to illustrate that if you keep taking missions, eventually you'll get something good. Yes it is frustrating getting only a single slicing component or foraged bugs, but if you don't get too discouraged and keep at it, you can find plenty. I mean, 4 CAs and an AA in a day, 2 Crystals, a stack of each type of weapon powerup, and enough smuggling components to make at least another 100-200k in credits. I have gone long stretches and not looted anything good, and then I have periods like this where I do well. Overall, I think I have gotten more good loots since pub 23 than before, and it's really not harder. Good luck to all of you, may those of you who are down see your fortunes improve. Just remember, the time it takes to come to the forums and complain or come up with a dumb conspiracy about jedis whining until we're nerfed could be spent chasing down that mark that brings in the big score.

I use battle armor, since I am a carbineer/bh, and if they use an energy based weapon I throw on the psg. Not as good for protection, but I don't have to carry as much and still manage around 5400 resists.

That vast a difference between the level of loot, to my way of thinking, reinforces the notion of randomness. How can some people loot nothing for days on end, and I, and some others if you read other posts on this matter, loot like kings. On this very thread someone said in 6 missions they got 2 CAs, some armor cores, and a crystal.

I have gone days without looting a CA/AA, or anything better than a BH schem. And yes, it is frustrating, but other times, as illustrated, I do very well, particularly since pub. 23. I am not saying that marks don't drop junk loot sometimes, they do, I got some even today. What I am saying is that it is a random, luck of the draw thing. Torepeat myself, that such a wide range of loots is here for all to see in the form of these posts shows that it is not that loot has been turned off or nerfed/fixed, it's that it is purely random.

I ran about 30 missions yesterday. Similar type results as the original poster.

1 set of 4 good power cells.

About 5 CA / AA's. (one being a good jedi ca)

4-5 bh armor schematics.

1 set of adv recon armor cores.

The rest smuggler loots or foraged bugs.
