Thread: Bugged Double Golds?

I just got done with a double gold boss mark and I didn't come out of the fight alive.


The mark was on dath and it was a lvl 81double gold chevron "boss" mark. When I attacked it I did my regualr routine. Charge shot for a kd, a couple damage specials (legshot, etc.) and then applied some states (bleeding, dizzy, stun, blind). His max health was around 36117. I began to notice that the health wouldnt go down past 35000-34000. I was constantlydoing around 400-600 damage. I thought it was my gun ( a normal greivance striker with a max dam of about 933) its condition was about 620/640. For some reason, im hoping it's a bug, the boss mark probably wouldnt have died unless I had probably a full group of CL 80s. Has anyone else had this? I noticed he rooted me when I ran, thought that was cool, but clearly he was prettymuch impossible to kill. As soon as I ran out of mind I knew I was dead.


Oops sorry, puthis health amount wrong. Fixed it though.

its called "improved AI"



i think its great, actually makes the game hard as since the CU its been far too easy, and greivence striker isnt great, boss marks regen health at a certain rate and how do you know he wasnt healing himself, as npc now have mixed proffs, maybe this one had some doc and was healing perhaps?

his health numbers weregoing uplike numbers on a vcr when you press fast forward lol.


I was doing my main damage specials and his healthbar barely went down. Lol and just a few minutes ago after i cloned and went back into the dath outpost (where the fight began) he attacked a jedi and was doin some serious damage to him but luckily the jedi got away and. It was weird too, how my mark attacked other people after i dropped the mission.

If he (the NPC) is healing himself, that's really dumb because that would be a LOT of health to heal (bosses are around 36k). A normal player can only have 3000 health unbuffed. I can only heal for about 1200 average with MCM. If they are healing even 1200 and they do it over and over, they should be out of mind fairly quickly.

i just fought a double gold and though he was able to hit hard by using ab and such, i would have survived and killed him if his health bar was not regening so fast. i got him down to half health and ran out of action when i started spamming ranged shot his health bar actually beat my damage and i lost a lot of headway . i noticed the improved ai, but making their health bar regen so fast is just too much.I know i was just spamming ranged shot but he shouldn't be able to regen his health faster than i can do damage.btw with armor break he was hitting me for slightly ove 800pts. of damage sometimes, and i was using a good fwg5 350-940 damage

Not so much Bugged, the Dev's decided that the Ai needed an upgrade. Which is ok, They also figured the REGEN rate should be unholy and Mobs unsoloable in a solo profession..... Which is not ok.

I got waxed too on my alt. It was using a kinetic pistol so I was in good shape with my BH armor.


15 minutes later I've taken 3k decay on my armor and he is at 11000/34000 health. Stalemate. His health never moved below that since I was out of action.


Its kinda sad that it indeed takes more skill (skill? lol) to kill one of these than a jedi. My jedi got owned by a kiting bh without armor on today too... If you use snare/root properly you will never get hit. I never once was able to hit him and stoped healing. I couldn't run away and doing that for 20 minutes until I was out of mind or force wasn't my idea of fun.


I don't hunt jedi but I might have to if it stays this bad...


Either seriously increase the payout for a 15-20 minute boring fight, or fix it. Its not cost efficient on armor or anything to fight that long with an NPC.



Also remember that a bh has to do these missions solo, and the marksshould still be able to be killed. The insanehealth regen has to be considered. Someone can heal me but I'm the only one with the tef...

Add another BH to that list of getting waxed....


His health regens like crazy, i was out of action mind and health at the end of my fight... even Jedi dont do that **edit** to me... on top of the fact he was hitting crazy hard and fast.

Screw that....Its not great when I have someone healing me...have a droid punchin on him....and his health is regening sooo fast. Thats bullsh!t. I went at this thing for 45 minutes and i have decent weapons. No player wants to get trashed on a NPC like that espcially in a profession that is supposed to be a solo concept
