Thread: a problem with investigations 3

Allright, I get the mission, talk to informant, get the bio sig, call the probe, then go to said planet, when i click on my seeker droid, it has identify target, i do that, then later a message appeares Target identified " target name" wave point recieved. but i don't get a wave point, then it says lost track of target. I know at this point i am supposed to be able to tell my seeker to track, not identify, but again that is the only option. is it the droids? or is there something else i am missing?
I got some help from another BH, but he got his BH after respec, so he never realy had to go through what i am at right now.
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

No you don't get the track option yet........when you get to the said planet, launch another droid........start heading to target.......when target is found.....launch another droid.....then head to target....repeat till you get to ur mark.

a probe droid or a seeker? and do i do this at the wave point that is there when i land? cause when i send out the seeker, i get no wave point, but it says i recieved one.

At investigation III you should be using seekers on your target. Never use the identify option on npcs since you already have the name in your mission profile. Only use the track target option. You will still have to send out multiple seekers until you reach your waypoint.
Your'e first mistake was asking a self admitted respec BH. Of course they dont' know how to grind.... you sounded surpirsed there.

Unfortunately track isnt an option while grinding Invest III..........only identify is. Who's the respec?

lol, it was so damn long ago, I forgot to be honest. The advice still stands though.

thanks guys, it ended up working like you said, and to the respec guy, i didn't know he was a respec till halfway through the conversation.
After all i am pretty green to this game, my guildmates help out when they can, but none were on at the time. and i've found this proffesion to be less than informative at first.
