Hi everyone.

I saw some posts here regarding the new Ai changes and the Boss Marks.

Yes they are much harder now and no they are not unbeatable.

I killed one in the third attempt and yes i used any single trick i could think of. Maybe there are more tricks to beat them, time will show.

My main reason for this post is, let them be as powerful as they are now. There is no need to tone them down or make them easier. If you say hey i want to have the cool loot from them, its okay because they dont drop anything special. Even a CL 75 Mark can drop an Attachement or a Power Cell or whatever loot you are looking for. There is no benefit in killing them at the moment. If you think you cannot handle them, then drop the mission and get the next one, which is most of the time not again a Boss Mark.

And when you have gathered all the cool and nice Equipment over time to be capped in most of your stats, have tested most of your food combinations and read most of the tricks other people found, you will be ready to kill this Boss Marks also. Until then just drop this missions. Its the same when you go for the PvP part of this Profession. When you get to a Jedi that beats you, just think about what was going wrong and dont say wohoo they are too tough, especially when other people already killed this Jedi.

I am so going to try when I get home...Im Mpistols/MBH/CM4xxx

I normally dont use my pistols but the specials it gives, and with 2 ranged cybernetic arms...i'm going to try to kite the sucker out of his range and keep using root/kd.

the root on pistoleer has a quicker cooldown timer now so it is possible to chain root.

yeah... try doing necro, hes not soloable anymore either.

my old register messed up so now im stuck with the 05 one and ive been playing for 2 years

It depends on the situation whether its soloable or not. Certain templates no doubt may be able to handle it. There seems to be some serious shift in the marks. My mark this morning hit for around 700 points of damage before he applied his armor break but some are saying theirs hit for 1100 points of damage. Needless to say not everyone even has a remote chance and it has nothing to do with skill or the like. Very excellent players are loseing to these guys and for good reason. If your profession can put out alot of damage all at once yeah I am sure its very hard but doable with a little luck, but if your a tank a healer a mezzer a commando. Whatever this is not the case. The health regen and the added armor in the end results in you going empty trying to damage drive them down.

Which many of these templates cannot do. Now can I ask you this why should these other valid templates be denied the chance to fight these marks. Marks mind you they fought just yesterday fine. The reason you may be haveing it easier is maybe just maybe your template is over powered and needs nerfed.

Good statements Dodece.

But my template is not really build on Damage Dealing. I am MBH / MP / CM 0004. I use the debuff the enemy Tactic and pierce him to death. I dont have uber Healing or uber Damage Dealing capabilities. So before we all say no its not possible with a giventemplate we should see if that is the truth.

And i dont claim for myself to be a very good PvE Player..

You may be right that not every template can kill this marks solo ( especially without any medic skills ). But also not every Template can kill a Krayt or Necrosis or Nightsister Stalker. Oh and btw if you dont know..you can be healed from outside while fighting..so this was so before Pub24, i havent tested after this pub but i think it works.

And no i havent tested Necrosis yet but i dont think it was intended that this guy could be solod at all..

Btw i could not solo him before Pub24.

PS: Just a thought, when you cannot kill them , why dont drop and take the next mission, there is no loss except the approx. 10 minutes to find out its double chevron. Maybe i am wrong..
