ok I'm new to the bounty hunter profession and am just grinding my way through the 3rd box of investigations. I landed a silver chevrom mark and after a a longer than normal fight was able to take him down. I went to loot and instead of looting all I opened the loot window and saw 3 items...I can't recall what they were except for the CA--3 mods, 2 were 11 or above (armorsmith, dancing, and something else). Anyway, after about 3-4 seconds, the window disappeared and it said the container was no longer available---because the body was GONE !!! And I didnt get my loot. Needless to say I want happy, but I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone before ? No macros running or anything--just POOF!

never loot by opening the window, it causes a despawn and you get nothing.
just doubleclick the corpse and check loot later.

It happened to me when i did the area quest on kashyyyk. You can take on another mark, i can never redo the arena quest 
I did learn to never loot manualy again though

If one of the items is a sachel, and you dbl click it...it opens...before you realise it, the mark will be gone...this has happend to me several times.
Make a macro:
/Loot all
That should solve it
