Definitely whether you have some doc/CM in your build or not you should stock up on ruby bliel and stims, as with sabers doing more damage you'll appreciate the extra healing ability. After that, you're really in the range of what you need and what you don't. Synthsteaks are great for the mitigation they provide, but they go fast, so it can really add up. I keep a crate of it in my pack incase things go really bad and I need to pour out the defense to keep me alive. If you don't really have mind problems, nuetron pixie or an equivalent spice is always good, though if you do have mind problems I'd suggest whichever spice it was that has the negative effect on health regen instead of action or mind, since thats a non issue when you're in a battle. Blob candy and spice tea also greatly help in action and mind regen and have low filling rates. Caevalian creams are always good if your kiting goes bad and the jedi saber throws you to death, as it'll help get you back on your toes faster, and potentially keep you from being DB'd. Again, I keep a crate of these incase everything starts hitting the fan. Snowcakes can help increase how much you heal for, which is always a good thing.
I'm sure others can provide examples of other things that may be important, but those are the ones I've looked into. Hope it helps.

it depends on your template, as mbh/mcm/0004 pistols i use booster blue for my spice and i keep deuterium pyro, blob candy, scrimpi, teltier noodles, vegeparsine, accaragm, and i still got some of my vasarian brandy and ahrisa left over from pre-cu. look in the chef forums for a complete list of foods and drinks, but mostly think about what you use the most, i need action and mind regen more than i need health regen or health increases because i can heal myself and i usually run out of action before i even get hit anyways so wasting stomach space on foods that increase my health would not make much sense. also i like using the lower level foods because you still get a considerable stat boost and they usually take a lot less filling.
