as for armor not working. check your combat log and see how much was mitigate by the armor.

I read it. He edited it.
I still think he's mistaken about the armor break. He obviously doesn't know that PSG's don't mitigate lightsaber damage, so he most likely is mistaken about the use of armor break, because armor break is the only thing that could bypass his armor like that. If he had looked at his combat log, he would see that his armor was only mitigating like 200 damage.

This is what leads me to believe that he wouldn't know if armor break was used on him or not. BTW, the Jedi who implied I don't know what I'm talking about clearly has a vested interest in bounty hunters not coming up with a solution to counter armor break, so don't listen to that Jedi.

i must be missing something... my combat log only shows how much damage done, not how much was mitigated by armor or what not. can anyone fill me in?

One of your options somewhere in CTRL-O is for verbose combat spam. Sorry I don't recall precisely where.
It's usesful to have turned on.
