Hello,

Can someonepoint out the pro/weakness to these templates. Also what styles/foods would you use accordingly.

MBH/MCM/Carbineer 0400

MBH/MCM/Pist 0004

MBH/M(*)/CM 4000 or 0400
((Variation with pistol, rifle, carbine))

Sorry for the newb'ish type questions, but I haven't played since Pub9. I'm trying to make a final decision on a template while I still have my token respec.

Currently, I respeced to MBH/MR/CM0200. I attacked first jedi last night with no food/no stims etc. Really dunno what I need, the jedi was helpful and understanding. The template seems to be ok, but the jedi closed the gap very fast. I'm not 100% that I used the proper styles(shots) when I needed to.

Anyway, can someone also give me the run down on the cybernetic arms, and how they effect range templates. (pro/cons)

Also, I need to take into account the prospect of killing pve marks for money. I have about 20 million or so that I can spend on getting ramped up. Anymore than

that and I will need to grind. ((not an issue, just thought it might be a consideration))

((I've tried reading most of the forums, but all the accronyms/assumptions are confusing for those in the dark.))

((If there are any specific links, I'll be happy to read them. However with all the changes, I feel like I'm sifting through sludge.))

Well if you are back from before pub 9 the biggest changes are

1. you can actually hunt jedi now

2. droids are actually fairly bugless compared to pre pub 9

mm I'll try to get you pup to speed....

all those MBH templates will work, playing them is different....also mind your armour certifications (only pistoleer has recon cert... recon = energy biased; LS damage = energy

)

MBH/MCM/Carbs 0400...ehm not sure..seems to be the worst of em all, battle armour and a snare...

MBH/MCM/ pist 0004, gives a root iso a snare

MBH/MP/CM 4000 my current templates....pretty good with decent gear...intimidate shot, disarming shot, warning shot aren nice..

MBH/MRM/CM4000 : hits hard but slow, also only has a snare

MBH/MC/CM4000: no clue

but any of these templates success will depend a lot on your gear...

pistols can burst like hell with a speed pup, but run you out of action

rifles show of is you go about sneaky (cover, then aim and try to incap in a few shots)

carbs I'm oblivious too post curb

get some decent food (blob candy, kanali wafers, spiced tea, or mando wine, get some spice...booster blue is best for healign templates)

But combat has changed alot. The actually bh process, I'm not overly concerned about. It's once I find the mark, that I'm looking for info on.

I quit just beforeCU, at the same time the jedi village thing started.

Also appears that healing has changed, as well as off the buff type stuff.

More or less a new game to me. I just don't want to make critical mistakes with my respec while I still have it.

Also, if running as mbh/mrifle/cm requires that you spend 200 million on a gun to only be 1% better than the same spec but with out the cost. I need to know that also.

Additionally, how each spec holds up in group/solo xp/money grinding.
