Thread: MBH / MR / Pistoleer0003 / Medic 0010 Anyone with limited healing abilities hunting Jedi

First off, i know everyone with CM4000 or MCM is going to say that I am toast without the ability to heal, and that may end up the case. So I am not looking for feedback from the healers hunting jedis. I am looking for the ranged hunters out there, and what do they think.

I am trying this templete out to see how it does, and was wondering if anyone else has a BH templete with limited healing ability and how do you do with it. I have a +10 healing Efficiency CA anda BE shirt with +18 healing, and with the food buffs to healing efficiency I get anywhere from 700 to 900 points per heal and use Stim D in the 1050 to 1100 range. If i get my droid out, i can heal for 1100 easy.

I was a MBH/MR/CM4000 a while back and noticed that once the jedi rooted me, i was done for most of the time unless I got lucky and get away before the incap. So i figured a good option would be to include a profession that gave me root to help keep my distance while I hit them with every thing I can as fast as I can.

Anyone got any ideas

I have a similar template, butinstead of pistols0003, I went with a line in carbs. You should also have enough points to pick up the next box in medic for another +5 healing efficiency.I seem to get by okay with medic0020, BE clothes, ruby, stims and kiting. Also, I do not use a droid. If you are having problems with being rooted, an effective counter is to KD,let them get upand then hit them with a startle shot. That should come close to outlasting the root.

My Template is MBH/MR CM xxx4. I don't have the great heals as MCM or 4xxx CMs but I still am a very effective Jedi hunter. I mostly make up my heals with Healing eff CAs and BE Bando. Also in a pinch I can pop some healing eff foods . My template has taught me not to stand and go toe to toe with my marks, instead I hit em hard and fast and if they close the distance with me, I slap a E drain and thyroid rupture on them and hammer away while I gain my range advantage back.

I'm not a PvP'er, but my template works quite well for me on PvE, and it may work on PvP as well.

MCarbs , MBH , pistoleer xxx3 , Medic xx2x with healing eff clothing and tapes. Heals are always in the 700-750 range, could go higher with foods and droid. I normally drop them with a KD, then a high dmg crit shot, followed by root and alternate leg hit with critical. As soon as root wears off (making sure you are at max range - for me 60m) hit a snare and begin keeping the distance open between them and you. Hit with a KD as soon as you can again, follow with crit and rinse repeat.

This attack is high dmg, but costs a heck of a lot of action so make sure you are stocked on as many action foods as you can get. Decent stims are a must, as is ruby. I normally equip my carbine with SAC reduction powerups as well. I can last a good 10 minutes without having to rest for action. I inevitably run out of mind before I run out of action.

I find it to work quite well for the most part. There are times when heals can be a little slow but with this temp they usually reach around 1k. Of course this isn't the most efficient but its built around keeping my mbh and having another mbh alt with my fs slot. Many would argue that you'd get mauled with this but if you manage the template well its possible to last a very long time. Remember your Ruby Bliel for using stims while kd. The timer reduces so about every time you get kd by the jedi you can pop a stim. When they root you I reccomend stance as it helps a ton. Also of course you should probably get the best energy armor and have the 75% AB slice. Never underestimate wafers or other dmg mitigation foods in a pinch and you'll be fine, especially with that template as you've got a big range advantage.

i was MBH/MCarb/pistols 0303 and the force sensitive acc. tree

i was able to kill jedis, but "never" fulltamplet (sure some i killed but when hes knowing what to do or a veteran OHOH, then you need to get him anaware), the root is very usefully, i usally started with a KD shot and root (cause root hits better while hes KD i think so) then spam your best shots, and hit a snare before he can get back on hes feeds (realy neccasary) then kkep moving and keep firing (no KD menawhile, keep it for your root attack) keep firing........... well thats it
