OK, there might not be any reason to be worried about this now, since this patch is still on TC. Perhaps they will still tone things down a bit, but then again, the devs seem to stick to bad ideas like krazy glue...
currently on TC:
1. Gold Chevron boss marks have been made immune to roots/snares (with the exception of CM roots/snares)
2. Boss marks' dodge rates have been increased dramatically.
3. Boss marks can stack multiple defensive states: CoB, Duelist stance and Sword Flurry(players can't)

So what... we have to group now to gank Boss marks?
If this does go into effect will the loot rate be alittle better and more rewarding?

nope. you can't group for BH marks. And I'll bet they still drop the jar of foraged bugs to boot, lol.
edit:
The changes affect all Boss marks (including BH marks)
Hopefully, the devs in charge of this will decide to tone down the BH marks at least because they're unattackable by anyone except the BH whose mission it is (so there's no way to group for ganking them).So unless every BH decides to become MBH/MCM, a lot of us won't stand much of a chance.

I have to say i really like the new AI. I dont like taking a mission were i know im going to win. That is what makes player jedi missions so fun but you cant loot them for good loot.
Im all for them making the boss marks near imposible to beat but the lootneeds tobe better than what most boss marks are droping now (jar of bugs).

All NPCs are masters of both melee and ranged professions (If only we had so many skill points), so what good is root anyway? Immune to things like KD would be much more devestating.

I would like to see marks that are FAR more difficult than they are now. The changes you described will still be cakewalk.

Oh'well, Just makes more things in game absolutely pointless to me.. Wonder when they are going to get sick of having a bunch of useless attacks.

Why should NPCs have the ability to do things that players cant do?
Immune to roots and snares ffs? Why not just make them immune to critical shot, head shot, body shot, leg shot, ranged shot, placed shot, quickdraw, torse shot, eyeshot....i could go on.
Whats wrong with using skills that are in your template to defeat a mark?

After doing hundreds of npc missions. My mark has yet to move around....EVER. They just stand flat on one spot and shoot me.
