OK I ran 6 missions last night and ran some different tests against different templates using 3 different rifles all with different pups.
Some background info: I am MBH./Mrifles/Pistoleer 0003/medic 0020 I am capped in all mods except for Gen., Speed (I got +10 in attachments).

When finding my mark UNBUFFED at standard 3k health, I found this Gun/Pup combo to be MOST effective:

High DPS HLR (969ish was mine + elemental dmg) running a Adv Crit/Headshot macro. This HLR was pupped with a 32% speed pup and has an accuracy bonus of 65 on the HLR.

When my finding my Mark UNBUFFED but running Defender Macros (ie. Aura), I switched to an LD-1 rifle (600ish Min Dmg, was sliced 8% dmg), used a dmg pup and ran a ranged/placed shot macro with /pause 1 intervals. The SAC on the LD1 is 95 and using the ranged/placed shots didnt budge action bar too much when on Blob Candy and Doc Buff. With an Aura Macro, the ranged/placed shots were hitting for 250ish dmg. Without the Aura, upwards 350-400ish.

In both cases, I popped a Deur. Pyro before unleashing for the better accuracy along with crispic.

When finding my Mark BUFFED but with NO Defender macros running (ie Aura), I used a damage PuP with an LD-1 rifle and drank Pyro and used the Crit/HeadShot macro.

When finding my mark BUFFED AND RUNNING DEFENDER MACROS, I used a SAC PuP on my LD-1 Rifle and ran the placed/ranged shot macro. The object in this case is to run the mark outta force. The macro kept him healing and he eventually made a run for it and I was able to KD my mark pop a startleshot and kill him.

The situations are going to determine the weapon you need to use. This is vital. I have learned to keep 3 rifles in my toolbar. A dmg PuPed LD-1, A SAC pupped ALR, and a Spd Pupped HLR so I can easily switch weapons depending on the situations as they arise.

As always, use your startleshots and disarming shots to disrupt Jedi running Aura macros. Then run your macros on them.

I won each fight with the exception to two. The first one was a KD bug in which I could not get up even after using /clear and /dump. He hit me 5 or 6 times while I was down and killed me. I was upset because his ego go to his head, and I KNEW I would have killed him. The second mark was just good. A very high dmg pre-CU saber hitting me for over 800 dmg a pop. I did last about 6 mins though, and got a tell saying "Wow, congratz on being the toughest BH yet"
