Thanks for the tips and macro's. If anyoen has anythign else to add then please do as I've never hunted a Jedi or well anythign before and I think I could do with all the help I can get!
Play dirty.... Bushwhacking is fun.
I see lots of BH die when they come after jedi in groups I am in.... They simply charge in and attack, unsurprisingly they die.
Why not attack when they have just finished a lair...Chances are your target will be low on force....
Most Jedi set the radar to max. Do not close with your target until you are ready to attack, then charge in dismount without stopping and attack. There is a good change you won't show on his radar until you are on top of him, so he won't have chance to pop some food until combat has begun.
Where is his group getting missions from? If you are gonna ambush him there try not to hang around....If there is a mall pretend to be shopping or just look busy. If you are off the beaten path then passing traffic may well be going to join your targets group and will give away your presence if you are standing around waiting for your target to show up.
now for the really dirty stuff...
what about getting an invite to his group and whacking him when he gets low health? This will only work a couple of times before the word gets out and grouping becomes a problem for you.
Waiting by the space port in MO for him to load in and nailing him while he's loading. (This will get you alot of Hate tells. Maybe even a visit from a CSR. But you still get payed :smileyhappy![]()
If they are milking lairs without destroying them you can a) hide under a lair and pop out just before all the mobs are finished. or b) park a bomb droid in the lair and conceal at max range for the incap...
The last one is great for generating lots of vis if its an all jedi group ensures future business...

Here is advice I cut and paste for all respec or new MBH, pick out what works for you:
I do not fight like I advise anymore (I can now run up to a Jedi and just start blazing away with success) but that has come with getting more experience, what I recommend here is what you should do for the first 10 kills or so, then you can start to develop your own style and tactics....
1. only attack if you have achieved complete and utter surprise.(meaning you can frontload a alot of damage). This will guarantee the jedi to be in a defensive position after the the first strike. You have forced him to think of only two things at this point, running or healing first AND then coming after you. .
2. Only engage if the Jedi, in addition to being completely surprised, is not buffed or his force is down, or he is engaed by MOBS or creatures. Even if you achieve utter surprise like #1 above but the jedi is not in a tough spot (in other words he is buffed and not distracted or engaged by other PvE activities) you can still lose dramatically even if you cause massive damage before reaction, so DON'T engage and follow this rule.
3. Learn about foods and how they best compliment your personal template, seek out high energy resit armor, slice it for Armor break if possible. Find a good weapon with high damage that you can slice for speed. Add a power up to the weapon to let it produce even more damage (so cap damage with weaponsmith and Power up, slice speed).
4. Add a duelist macro (this is very important as it adds 250+ defense) this will help alot as well :
/duelists;
/pause 26;
/alarmaddin 0 0 STOP, DUELIST!!
/pause 1;
/macro Duelist
Be sure to use the following for deathblow so that the macro does not interfere:
/dump
/deathblow
Specific MBH MCM hunting advice:
Get buffs form a doc before hunting. Take Muon Gold and Ahirisa cake (for mind), also ruby beil and vassarian brandy, Vegapsrine (if working not sur eif it is now) citros, air cake, and last but not least duetorium pyro (pop the pyro every third time you hear the duelist macro alarm below). You can add a few more foods to your liking like a quick pop of synth steak to mitigate damage when the going gets rough. (I prefer Muon Over Booster Blue before anyone wonders because i have a 66 SAC scatter pistol, action is not a big deal for me).
Start the attack and use KD, Toros, Adv Crit, then paralyze and lay states as the Jedi rises, Fire first ,then poison, you can get both in before he moves, then use stopping shot , get it for your temp if you don't have it, back away and alternate between torso and adv crit. Keep your fire and poison dots up and lay traumatize and Thyroid rupture. Now heal, KD recovery and use variations of the stuff above and you'll win more than you think. You can also get creative and cause disease, lay some more debuffs, the gold and ahirsa should really keep your mind up and that is the key, forget running him out of force, run him out of mind (check the last pic in my sig and look at the Jedi's mind and look at my mind, I never stopped laying states and healing the whole time and I am almost full with the foods and buffs, it was about a 10 minute fight)
Ruby Bliel: I would suggest getting some of this. Right now the way it is working is if you take a stim, then a Ruby you will be able to use another stim right away, then 30 seconds later. If you run into an occasion where you get the KD bug and need to pop 3 stims one after the other you can use Ruby, stim, Ruby, stim, Ruby stim...and you'll be able to do these all within like 5-10 seconds as needed (or as your stomach allows). You can write a macro for it if you have one of those instances where you need to pop the ruby the stim quickly. Here is the macro:
Macro Name: RubyStim
/ui action toolbarSlotxx; (Place of your ruby)
/pause 0.5;
/ui action toolbarSlotxx; (place of your stim)
Alright, that's all the info I'm going to give away. Good luck.
*With a probot, bleed, and ranged shot on a quick rifle...you can cause some hurt while kiting and still regen action effectively. Marksmen owns.
*8k Armor Break sliced recon will make most Jedi hit like sissies (Reflection of your damage on them in most Mdefender hunts) making the fight more strategic and skill based than how uber lewt cool Jedi are.
*Hit them hard and fast on the alpha strike. If they go down thats a quick 220K+ credits and you can move on to your next target.

why do you need a deathblow macro? I just doubleclick
Only if you are using duelist macro. There have been some reportred cases where the duelist macro interrup[ts the death blow (reported by Akast) , so if you use /dump first , then you will be ok.
I actually odn't use it. I can time my DB the right way.
