since I know cloak is such a big issue with the community I had a little idea, rather than everyone always wanting the other professions nerfed why not find a way to give bh's some type of cloak of their own?

If you think about it, it would be a great asset to the bh if you could get close enough to watch your target for a few seconds without being on the radar.

Personly I would like to see it added in this way:-

bh cloak, you still are visable on screen, however you do not show on the radar for 45 seconds.

so as long as you sneak attack (from the rear) which would probably be realistic, you wouldnt be seen by the jedi, unless his/her friends see you, of course once you open fire they will know you are there but it would at least help with the element of suprise.

Basicaly what Im trying to say is rather than cry about each other, why not see if we can help each other. after all jedi and bh's are very much a big part of each others content.

For the record, BH's provide zero content for me. They are an annoyance I'm forced to put up with and I do so while biting my tongue.

I'm not shooting down your idea of giving BH's a cloak. I just dont think that giving BH's a cloak will fix the problems that BH's have with Jedi who cloak, which is namely, they dont have to fight any BH they dont want to. It's this problem that needs to be addressed.

The devs gave the BH the ability to TEF a Jedi and FORCE him to fight or run and not just run into a house for instant safety. However, cloak is far superior to any house a Jedi can run into. Thus.......two totally conflicting ideas.

Devs, do you want BH's to be able to force Jedi to fight for 2.5minutes while TEFed or do you want them to instantly be able to say "no, i'm not fighting and sadly, you cant make me". Make up your mind.

i hear what your saying, you have to remember tho that jedi with cloak are either: a) low on def, or b) low on attack (dps). So its all swings and roundabouts.

I'd still like to see some sort of cloak added for bh's, would give more feel to stalking your mark. Cant see as it would do any harm if they did it the way I explained.

I like the idea. It could also help alleviate some of the issues with the /duel exploit at well.

true but BH and Jedi are not the only professions. And Bh is not Jedi. If anything Jedi should be able to tell you are after them BEFORE you show up on the radar.

Im a MBH as well, but i dont see a huge advantage to this, the game is too oriented on BH/jedi relations, i think SOE needs to step away from BH and jedi for a while and work on other things.

Being a bh myself ( i dont hunt jedi, huntin jedi is 80% pointless, not enough creds in it) i wouldnt mind having a few other skills, but come on. We have thier aura, can get 8000 resist armor + a 2000 resist psg ab sliced. Can attack from a distance with all of our attacks. Get first strike and choice of when to attack and start the fight. Have weapons that no post CU jedi can compete with. WHAT more do you want handed to this profession. Lets have some dignity and take a step back and see what has happend to our baby sitted professions. That being jedi and BH, its fine who cares

Why do the jedi robes cover all clothing areas except hat, gloves, and belt? I just thought it would be nice and should be very easy to implement jedi robe coverage of only the boots,pants, and shirt. I thought it would be cool to wear a brown or black cloak along with the robes as seen countless times in the movies. It would also be nice to wear a backpack with the robes and I'm sure there are some wookies and others that would like to wear a bandoleer with the robes. It just seems like it would be so easy to change and many would enjoy the new clothing options.

Second,although harder to implement than the first idea, it would be cool if we could craft the jedi robes. I'm sick of seeing everyone in the same robes. It would be nice if we could craft our own robes and choose the colors at least. Maybe latter on they could add a couple of new styles also. I never liked the idea of going to a force shrine and poof there are your robes. I know this post has nothing to do with the balance issues and isn't a big deal to most but it seems like the changes would be so easy to make and add a little flavor to the game. Post in support if you like the ideas.
