Thread: suggestions?

Ok here I am


master medic


master doctor


holo 1 - master tailor


holo 2 - master ranger


master scout


holo 3 - master architect


master artisan


master entertainer



I am working on musician right now and I will probably do dancer and ID after that just to get those out of the way.



I am alos looking for another holocron in the hopes it tells me that I need to master marksman and then I unlock my slot. But seriously.



Should I continue with these entertainer professions after I do musician or should I go ahead and get marksman? I have like 170k pistol xp saved and 240k combat xp saved... so it wouldnt be a big deal either way.



Oh and my order was

Okay, so ive mastered 7 professions, and it will be 8 this weekend. here is the list, in the order i have them... i want suggestions on which to master next should i not open my slot this weekend.


Scout


Marksman


BioEngineer


Medic


Creature Handler


DroidEngineer (1st Holo)


Artisan


Carbineer (2nd holo) - currently 3/4/0/3

i am going commando and smuggler im maxed on pistols so i dont care about that, but the unarmed is killing me only 100 xp per trooper? anyone know some stuff i can kill with unamred 3 and no armor?

Are you using your bleed shots followed by peace? I started TK and now picking up ranged weapons but I read everywhere that you put a bleed on the SOBs and then as long as you switch to unarmed before any other damage is done it all goes to unarmed points. *hint* use wookie roar and intimidate also =)

I slaved my way to unarmed 4 on diseased bocatt lairs. Roughly 250 per bocatt, usually six of them per lair, and then another 250-400 on the lair, plus you'll have a fair bit of money when you finish. Had something like 40k, so 40 odd missions, don't remember my exact balance when I started. I know 1800xp isn't astounding, and experienced wealthy armour wearing players will scoff at it but it got me to where I wanted to go in a good few hours work. You'll probably need some medic skill, a pair of decently fast knucklers will help and then just pummel them


Note: Using a speeder really reduces the down time between missions and when you get some more.

Oh yeah, you will get diseased occasionally, but it was just an annoyance for me

Do a search for Unarmed xp on the boards. There are countless threads with tons of tips.

Animal lairs. The lairs themselves give you good XP.

Best way... Get Vk's as fast as you can affoard. Then set yourself up in a static spawn area, ie. meatlumps and just do a /sit /pause macro that repeats. Macro away 24x7 until you get the exp done. After that the commando exp is too easy to get to warrant macroing. Time is your best ally here... say you get 150 exp per kill. Only stick to 3 mobs per spawn spot. So... that's 450 exp per set and they spawn every five minutes. Lets say because of a slight delay effect that you can take 10 sets per hour. That's 4500 exp per hour. And finally, lets say with a server reboot once a day which will give you roughly 20 hours of pure play time which will give you 90k exp.


Mind you this is not the purests way of doing things but then neither is having a harvester do your work for you either or a factory for that matter.

Holo finally went silent today. I'm going to finish Image Designer and Bioengineerbefore starting anything else because that will finish all the Medic and Entertainer professions, but at a loss to know where to go from there. Here's the total to date

Oh, btw, one of my guild suggested Politician...but I thought this wasn't one you could get...has anyone ever had a holo tell them Politician?

Do image designer then Brawler. Then line the rest up on a nice big chart on the wall and throw darts and master that profession. There is no pattern. Even if there is one there is too many variables that could be used. They could use any information from the exact time and date you first created your character all the way to your credit card info. Have fun.
