I was a career Ranger/Rifleman for over a year. I decided i wanted to try something new.

So i used up my Token respec to become to following...

Master Rifleman, Master Bounty Hunter, Cammando 1-2-0-0

I thought it was a fabulous temp. As the Commando gives me extra defences and speed/acc mods. However, what i didnt realize (noob to BH) was that you need medic to even do any kind of high end NPC hunting.

I was used to Ranger, and how it alone gives me all the tools needed to live in the wilderness, and able to hunt basically any high end critters...

But BH is alot different..

So me and my shiny new template decide to do some master level bounties...after wasting alot of droids figuring out how the hell they work, i travel to everysingle planet trying to find my mark...as fate would have it, he was on Endor..the last planet i travelled to

So at first i decide to do my usual Ranger hunting techniqes...

Cover up, conceal shot untill they see me, then Head shot FTW.

However this guy saw me right away! started spanking me, so i wait till my health is nearly gone. And use a Stim D....that was when i noticed that my template has a hufe hole...the warmup for my Stims are sooooooo slow. I died

So now im realizing that i have to get CM 0400, and an excellent healing probot.

And that was my first BH experience

hehe thanks. i thought i was going to get alot of flak for being a respec BH..

i know that the invest line is a really long and tough line to get, and anyone who did it the hard way is a much better BH than me. Just like the respec rangers who didnt put all that time in harvesting...

Im really having fun tracking down these marks.

and any jedi out there...dont worry, im faaaar away from mastering my new profession. I wont be attacking any jedi for quite a while.

yea when u could start hunting jedi at investigation III and got tons of exp fpr doing it......ah those were the days.

Seems as though you don't know about Arakyd Droids yet. Their are two types of droid BHs use - seekers and Arakyds. An Arakyd droid should be the first droid you use as it will tell you the planet your mark is on. You can then head to the determined planet and launch a Seeker droid to track your target.

wow... that will save me alot of time lol.

Only problem was that i did a galactic (corbantis) vendor search, and found no arakyd droid. only seekers. So i guess ill have to make an aquaintance to the local DE
