Got a small question, since I'm new to the post-cu game and was wondering:

Is kinetic damage more effective against Jedi than energy, and why / why not?

Thanks in advance for any advice given.

In certain circumstances, yes.

Jedi can wear PSG's (personal shield generators) which add armor against energy. Mine adds 2700 armor against energy, on top of my 6000 innate armor. (4000 from FA and 1000 from jedi initiate and 1000 from nov defender) So if you come at me with an energy weapon, I've got some of the best armor in the game, and that's not even with aura.

IF you shoot a jedi and notice a shield coming up with each shot, you're dealing with a psg. Switch weapons, or I suppose you could try to wear it out. (most keep several psg's on hand tho..)
