Well, most smart jedi have a PSG, so you might want to have a Trando rifle around, but keep it secondary. Invest in an uber ADV laser rifle and if you don't do sufficient dmg to the jedi, switch to the trando.

For my opening shots I use my HLR to wear him down some and put the energy dmg on him. When he starts to close in or my energy dmg isnt doing much i switch to my LD1 for kinetic dmg. Once my SAC gets real lowIswitch my DEECE with a SAC pup on it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but PSG's only really give you protection for the first few seconds. Even with an uber recharge time a PSG's effectiveness goes to crap when taking constant damage... Right?

my understanding is by hit .. if you hit a jedi with some quick shots in sucession to start off with you get past the recharge timer than can lay in a powerful shot ...but if for a moment you stop shooting ( to heal whatever) it will recharge .. thats why my strategy ( if i believe the jedi is prepared wearing a psg) to actually use a simple low sac and quick timed ranged shot .. 3 or 4 times .. then lay the big criticals and legshots in ....sure this kind of ruins the alpha strike ... but its gets past the PSG ... to retain a high damage alpha strike AND get past the psg i also suggest getting a kinetic rifle of carbine ... im having a capped czerka made ....

I cant remember where the thread was.... But basically it showed how the effectiveness of a PSG does not decrease quickly at all...

Frankly I dont understand why jedi can wear PSGs anyway... It is armor.... It has resists.... it is fixed by using an ARMOR repair kit...

As for rifles... I have a capped HLR and an LD-1 for kinetic damage.

Yeah it is kind of wack giving an "alpha" class that already has uber defense something to further that defense.. Have you ever tried going aganst a good Mdef with a psg and the right combo's of food? Usually turns out something like miss miss miss miss saber block miss saber block you hit the jedi for 120pts miss ect ect. I've always thought it's kind of funny..

As a matter of fact I have.... he was a guildie, and we were having a friendly duel... He could not deal much damage to me... but I could not either... If this had been a real BH mission it would have had to been dropped.

HOWEVER... when he took off the PSG... it was a much better duel... He said I would have eventually won.
