I use a pistol myself, but I just like pistols. Both are quite effective. I'm 61-4 against jedi this week using pistols... so it just depends on your preference. Again, rifles are better, but pistols work too.

You're all wrong. Carbines are the best.
The proton carbine, too be specific. Or perhaps a nice elite carbine, or E11.

Yeah, its really great to use a Proton, or a T21, especially when the Jedi is wearing a PSG, the energy damage of those two guns really makes a difference then. Gosh, I love using energy weaponsagainst a PSG wearing Jedi - maximum damage all round I'd say ...

Seriously, whats the point of using a gun when you know that the damage is going to be countered by a PSG? Kinda dumb if you ask me. Every time you see the blue green animation, you can be safe in the knowledge that you are being really efficient.

With good equip it doesnt really matter if your going rm or pistoleer (or carbineer)
My point would be that kin > energy and its easier to come by a good Featherweight FWG5 than a good Kinetic Rifle.

There is no right answer to that question.. Just what works for you.. Try different tactics and stay away from em if they are Defender MLS

Both are acceptable formats of hunting Jedi. You can always hit up Pikemen for intimidate/warcry if you feel the need to have pistol-like specials.

rifles for damage, pistols for the snares and roots, the best BH in my opinion on my server is a pistoleer. and for pistols, i would say feather weight sliced pistols. and for rifles, I use a heavily modified T21 rifle. and as back up for both i would have a heavily modified advanced laser rifle
