I just saw the CU weapon Friday feature.
The proton has got to be the nicest looking carbine known to man, it's a real soldiers weapon and I might go carbineer just to use it.
The proton rifle on the other hand looks far to bulky

Have to agree. I realy like the look of the Proton Carbine. Hope its as useful as well

Looks like HK-G36 assault rifle, the real one, I wonder whether they had to pay royalties to Heckler and Koch

the proton carbine is described as "a powerful carbine"...woot! its the big daddy of carbs perhaps in the cu (pure speculation)

I just like the fact that they are adding new weapons (I love new fluff... even if it is only fluff

The new carbs sound like (besides the geno one) that they will be the same damage types we have unless they have very good damage then i will be satisfied and if we get a Geno ( stun ) damage carbine then i think the damage will not be that great because if i can do over 4k to a tusken with a laser carbine then i will be doing like 5-7k and rifle man has a "geo" rifle and that dose acid damage so there is no way of knowing what they will do

Carbines just look so damn sweet.
Slap a form-fitted stock and a scope on, and you've got the best looking weapons in SWG. I sit there and just look at my laser, elite, EE3, and DXR6 in the examine window. That's something I never did with my T21, power hammer, VK, or whatever other FOTM weapon I've used.
Nice to see the proton carbine continuing the trend.

I have this feeling that the Proton Carbine is going to fire blue bolts. Don't know why...if just seems right or something.

Forget the proton carbine, the geo carbine will make carbineer an exceptable combat pro! I'm all about a stun damage carbine

Any word on if these new carbines are going to be krayt craftable?
I think that a krayt proton carbine would be a great new firearm.

As I stated earlier, Stun/Kinetic/Blast damage will not be anything like it is now. Please go check the Armor Doc for the CU that TH posted.....I copied it to this forum too.
