Was thinking about this while I wait for server to load.........

I trained Investigation III exactly 2 weeks ago last night. So from that I gained the "find and track" command. Well everytime I use that command from a seeker droid, I send one out and it does it's thing (slowly) and I never lose a charge. As of yesterday I'm at 14,633 xp (about to go insane btw) and during all that Ive used the same seeker droid. I did accidently hit "find target" and it did loose a charge, but not with "find and track".

Am I special or is this normal? Just curious never really took time to ask before, thanks.

You know you probably shouldn't have posted this. Now the DEV's will probably fix this so that it does take away your charges. Some things you should just keep to your self or your buds.

There is a bug with the find and track command, I am 1.8k from Inv 4 & have using the same seeker with out lossing any of the charges.

I just know that the DE are piss about this one. One would think that are lossing a lot of $$$ on this bug, it's good for us, but bad for them the DE.....

This was a known exploit/bug in my early days of correspondent. I was asked about it, and the Droid Engineer correspondent had mentioned it after which I confirmed its existence.

It was said to be fixed.

If it is still going on, it needs to be removed. I have no personal experience with the bug to warrant comment.

We reported this bug multiple times back in September, when we first noticed it. The only advantage of being ignored by the Devs, is that helpful bugs are ignored too!

You do realize that someone would actually have to look at the code for the Investigation line. Do you know what you are asking LOL.

I just trained investigation III this weekend and I haven't lost a charge on my seekers since so it definately is still there.

I hadn't noticed that. If this is true then it should be fixed. It's not like seekers are really that expensive and those droid engineers are already sucking exhaust pretty badly.

I also purchased 2 advanced probots to determine their potential as replacements forpets since decent ones are going away soon. They justflat out stink. They attack from range so they are worthless as tanks and get incapped in one or two shots. Isn't this Star Wars? Why can't I get a decent droid to help out from time to time? Did Obi-Wanburn the plans for those Trade Federation droids or something?

Compared to other artisan professions, my Droid Engineer is absolutely lame. In a few months of owning a shop, I have a total of just over 600k to my name, while doing nothing but replacing those droids that were purchased from my vendors, and building new sets as I advance.

Considering the MILLIONS of credits that other professions gain crafting, I can attest that the Droid Engineer is not the way to go currently.

But again, there is hope. They are looking at the profession now.

A developer asked me if it were fixed, I didn't really know.

Supposedly it was ina patch a while back, but never was corrected.
