I destored thounsands almost master and really ticked-off what other profession has to go to somone else just to buy parts for thier craft i have to buy power cores from arhetects and armor from master armorsmiths next will be weapons for the combat droids, hell i'm surprised we can even make crafting station mods.
Love the Game even if it is somewhat buggy right now

I made it to novice DE last week. I began reading through this forum and others to try and learn as much as possible. Unfortunately, the more I read, the more disheartened I became. I understand exactly what you're feeling. BUT, I gotta say, there are also a few very positive posts sprinkled around, and they tend to balance it all out for me. I'm taking it slow up the DE tree, and making my money elsewhere. By doing so, I figure that:
- I won't burn-out my enjoyment of the game with constant grinding
- By the time I reach a decent level, alot of the bugs/issueswill have been ironed out
My suggestion to you is to look around some more, and take note of the positive aspects that somtimes manage to slip through the cracks and find themselves posted. The DE profession is most definitely a minor disaster area right now, but its future is still pretty bright.
Unfortunately you can expect a lot more grinding to make your way to the top. When I finally hit Master DE a few days ago I actually felt disappointed that it had been so .... simple. When you grind, you are just wasting materials and basically producing nothing at all. Each new box opens up to you, but so many things do not work properly, if at all... so you sit and bear it and grind some more. Think of an entire branch with nothing but armor that is disabled. At least there, you do get a couple crafting stations eventually. Grind Grind Grind... Then you get to move on to an entire line of customization and experimentation--- both of which are not implemented at all.
On the plus side, if you are working your way up, odds are you will succeed in making it to Master DE by the time most of the class gets fixed and then you can sit back and relax, and finally reap the rewards of your hard work.

I'm right there with you. I made Novice DE about 3 weeks ago and I still have about 30k xp to go before I get my first set of blueprints. Why? Because I HATE grinding, and I made it to DE after they nerfed factories. I sell about 2 MSEs a week, and the only time I grind is when I'm waiting for a shuttle or sitting in the med center.
At this rate it will be Christmas before I can make anything more than a mouse droid, but oh well. I'm taking my time and havingfun working on my pistol skills. The best thing I've done is pack up all my harvestors for a few weeks so I no longer have tospend time and money maintaining them. I collected enough resources so that I can make a droid whenever I like, and I have more freedom than I've ever had in this game.
Granted, I'll never catch up to the powergaming DEs, but at least I'm enjoying the ride.
A lot of drinking helps.
Higgins, you have the right attitude, and I congratulate you for it. If you want a couple crafting modules from me, so you can make a personal droid crafting droid, or if you just want to buy a crafting droid, give me a shout and I'll be glad to help.
Grinding is not required, and IMHO detracts from the fun of the game. It always strikes me funny to see people complaining about it, since nobody is forcing you to grind. ![]()
Im pondering whether or not to do BH anymore if they are blow it all to hell
