Jedi and Swordsmen have it, why not let Master Pistoleer (and only master) get a simple armor break? Maybe not as good as swordsmen or Jedi, just something to help the damage. Well that and lets see the moves stick more and last longer. (IE warning shot last more then 15sec or so).


Why only master pistoleer? If you put it in Master Pistoleer it will stop every and all MRM/MBH from getting it like stoping shot.

Why not as good as Jedi and Swordsmen? We are ranged, granted a Jedi can hit me with his saber in the same distance I can shot him. (32m for saber/forcepowers 35 for pistoleers, lag makes it diffrent).

Why I think it should be so? I can spam quickdraw/bodyshot very fast, however compaired to my carbineer I still lose. I have a Damage/SAC 2.02 speed carbine and a Damage/Speed caped 75 SAC HCS pistol. Same builds and the carbine wins all the time. With the low damage done by the pistol and its shorter range the carbine takes less damage while doing more per hit, if pistoleers have an armor break it might help this a small bit.


Now, if you don't want this for pistoleer thats ok, just please make the status shots last longer, like 30 sec and make them stick a whole lot more at Master Pistoleer. Or do both, either way I'd be happy.


To add... if not Master Pistoleer, maybe make adv and only adv firearm strike do an armor break, somethign to make it a good KD.

Pistoleers used to have a "dodge" modifier that would allow you to completely side-step (literally, the animation halted you and such) an incoming attack. Giving innate (yet rather small) protection against AB makes some sense, I guess. Not sure giving pistoleer an AB would make such sense (swordman, both Jedi and the real thing) make sense, but not someone with a pee-shooter. Yeah, I've gone back & forth between pistols and rifles over the last 2 years. Just giving my POV. Don't mind me!
