What is so horribly bad about Boutnty Hunter's killing Padawans or as some call it "bottom feeding"? The Padawans knew the risks of hunting in groups or hunting near NPC's, so that is thier punishment for not staying away from NPCs or PCs. Any of the Jedi lurkers may respond. Bounty Hunters as well.

Nothing is bad about BH's killing padawans of any level as they are on the terminals so they can be hunted.
Bottom feeding is really just that it's more likely a BH will take a mark that is lower then 200k and it created a primary target zone in wich those Jedi were constantly hunted compared to others of Higher payout and sometimes lower payout.
While the changes have made BH more difficult for the BH which there is no argument from me there. All Jedi that are on the terminals pretty much have an equal chance of being hunted or so it's assumed as there is no possible way of checking this.
Pre-CU IMO if a Jedi whined about getting hunted well that's just tough luck for them as it was possible to do your grind from padawan to knight without ever getting on the terminals. I myself got on the terminals but it was purposely. Those that knew how to avoid NPC's and such hardly if it all were hunted.
Currently grinding solo is still an option but it will take you years to finish a Jedi template with the way XP works now compared to how it worked PRE-CU. They have removed Visibility gained from groupmembers which does alleviate the Forced Grouping problem but that alone wouldn't curb the fact that once a Jedi got to a certain payout they would be hunted more then others.
On a note of making ALL the Jedi possibly being equally picked up and hunted the changes to the terminals are reasonable. (They do need to fix all the bugs of course) The side affect is that kashykk is getting more heat over the matter with seekers not working there and the fact that it would take alot more time to hunt Jedi there so some BH's don't bother with it and is making it more likely that you will run into a Full template Jedi more often then a lower level one. That and the LOS bug that still exists there makes it worse.
the problem is that there are A LOT of 'immature spoiled people' playing on the servers.
with this I mean persons who can't stand to lose a fight/battle. They want everything that's good, but don't realize that there are downsides as well. In the Jedi ranks these are the players who want Jedi asap, grind asap, flame when they get killed, and when they reach fulltemplate start showing off in Starports trying to lure people in duels. Same with certain BHs when they lose a mission or the jedi gets away.
my thoughts are this:
*a jedi knows the consequenses -being hunted- when going Initiate. A jedi player is NOT a newb in SWG, they must have completed Themeparks, get badges and master a profession. A Master BH can also hardly be called a newb as they have alsocompleted a grind to that title. Jedi get a very strong template when finished, but the Road of the Grind is a long and dangerous one (as it should be). Downside of a BH loss is the loss of XP. Therefore -most- jedi will do anything to avoid being killed by BHs.
*a padawan who complains about being ganked (pre Pub 20) or being hunted by lone BHs should search the cause of this by himself. he made a mistake and the result was that he landed on the terminals. A jedi who isn't on the terminals can't complain about BH attacks, and a jedi who complains that he MUST group and gain VIS (pre Pub20 again) because otherwise he would get no XP took the risk knowing what the consequenses were.
*a BH knows what happens with the victim when he beats a jedi. That person will not be happy at that very moment. So making fun of a dead playerafter a battle is not necessary, vice versa for the jedi. Roleplaying is a different matter imo.
*AFK-grinding, wearing AFK tags when people are ingame, using macro's or going AFK- or logging out in open spaces (starports etc) is a risk the player takes himself. going LD after the game crashed is unfortunate, but nothing more...it can happen to all of us.
*reading the above points I conclude that both classes have no reason to complaint/flame to each other. If a jedi complains of being hunted, well...then that player isn't suited for being jedi. If a BH complains about the jedi, he should think about changing professions.
*IMO this anger should simply be directed at the responsible people behind this, the DEVS. They are the ones who nerf or make classes stronger, created perma death and the XP loss. So people should simply send bugreports or post it on the forum without starting whiner-oriented flamethreads.
*and if a player really can't stand losing a fight and does take things a bit too seriously, well then they should simply stay with singleplayer games as they are not -yet- capable of interacting in a normal way with other people.
*some flames are a bit too harsh and should be reported as harassment....this should never be tolerated or answered through hate-tells but simply by contacting the Customer Service. exploiting BH/jedi should be reported and banned as well. When this happens the game should be a lot more friendly.
