I hate being lumped in the 'powergamer flashy glowstickwtfpwn ever' Jedi group...

Damn it - I became a Jedi after doing a holo - and grinding the rest out over a 6 month period at the village - I did it to advance my character - and also I did it cause I had done everything else in this game...

I have had three characters who've been BH's - two Master - since before the CU and before the Jedi vs. BH thing getting really big...

I do not whine about losing my xp cause I've always gained it back in a reasonable amount of time...

Every BH that comes for me I fight - have only evaded one in the past and that was me versus two level 80's and their high level pet...couldn't keep up - my record is 10 wins and 5 losses....sometimes beat two at a time...

Here's what I'm saying... every thing we can do - jump in a friend's speeder - run in a safe house - force run away... some of you BH's try and get those options taken out for us - some of you say they're exploits - some of you roll with the punches and learn how to beat us...(those are my favorite) When we make a move like that to save our skin it's because we didn't get this far along in the game and NOT know how to save our skins. You guys start with the advantage in every Jedi/BH mission - so why are you taking out our back doors?

Just some thoughts. As far as canon and all that - yeah there are too many Jedi.... Please don't persecute me for my fellow Jedi though and for simply using the options available to me!

Sincerely, me

Sadly, it is getting to the point to where soon, even drawing out our saber to defend ourselves will be deemed an exploit. Everything we can do will get nerfed until it comes to where the moment we are attacked, we are dropped into an instant and constant prone position.

Welcome to the New Galactic Empire, a very hidden organization that has managed to kill far more citizens and destroy far more communities than theImperial Navycould have ever dreamed of.....

I have to agree with this. I have dealt with countless mouthpieces of BH's. Cheaters, exploiters, BH's with way too much verbal diareha. I'm just playing the toon I love, and I like to have fun in game. I'm a roleplayer, I spend time with my guildmates, I hunt high level PvE, I don't generally get involved in the GCW and I do my own thing. I have no issues dying to bh's. I have a number of times. The only one's that get trash talk are those that exploit - Maura for instance who won't fight me anways -

Even sitting in Talus on my porch thinking about what to do with my house someone starts blasting away from me, I casually stand up, equip my saber, walk over to him, chase him over to the water as that's where he ran, I dispatched him and left him there. I walked back to my porch and sat back down. This was the SECOND friendly BH I've met. He said good fight, and went on his way. I wonder how many fights he's lost where he didn't get sent back to the cloner.

Some of us aren't power gamers, some of us aren't your 1337 freaks. Some of us are hard working people that lead an ordinary boring life and like to sit back and pretend we're someone else for awhile.

Forgot to add: Some of the stuff that gets complained about is insane on these forums. HEY!!! He can't get in a speeder and drive off while I'm shooting him. He shouldn't be able to stay hidden in his house and not come out!! I'm sorry....I know this is a game...but lets look at it from this perspective...if someone's really chasing after you...aren't YOU going to lock your door, and wait it out? Jumping in a speeder is a GOOD tactical advantage. YOU could do it too. Sometimes your mark is going to escape, and you'll have to keep trying. It's why it's called 'hunting'. I know the terms should probably just keep you updated on who you're fighting and where we are the entire time, and hell maybe we should get a perma root too while you have our mission active so we can't run away....

So obviously bounty hunters get loved every publish. Tonight I went through 35 minutes straight of only OFFLINE jedi. I finally find one and then I track my mark on kashyyyk, spend 40 minutes searching all the instances, find him and kill his afk butt, and I don't even get paid. Obviously our proffession hasn't been affected at all.

*Edit*

Gotta count the pointless load times to get up into space, hyperspace and then land again.

BH has been affected a lot

It's been redesigned for Jedi Hunting only basically - though only certed to do it at Master now

Even if we go offline whenever we want and go to whatever planet we want - which we'll do regardless of how it messes up bounty missions- BH's still have the first strike and the advantage...

'your target is offline' is a 'blah' complaint.... sick of hearing it... YOU signed up for Jedi hunting the same way we signed up for Jedi

Right and when I made my BH a few publishes ago I knew it would take me this long to find missions when publish 20 came out. Jedi have been hunted the whole time. You obviously don't understand how the offline thing works.70ish jedi in a row don't go offline in the 30 seconds I take to get the bio sig and launch the droid. I'm not saying your spoiting by going offline. I'm not blaming jedi for this publish at all. As far as I'm concerned the only thing that bugs me about jedi is the amount of afk grinders and the LoS bug, which yes I have seen bounty hunters use before.

As for the master certification required, I'm glad they put that in. Been a MBH the whole time and so it doesn't affect me at all.

Why they felt the need to change bounty hunters the way they did, I guess we'll never know. It seemed fine the way it was before.
