Good luck Jope. I'm sorry you feel there's nothing of value left here for you to participate in. I think so much of what has been presented and discussed and imagined here has been beaten to death for so long amongst ourselveswith absolutely no developer attention, that it's kinda made peoplenot want to bother. For all our great ideas, when it seems no ones listening or no one cares, it gets hard to keep that enthusiasm going. I think we've already seen a cycle of energized enthusiasm, bitter resentment and open flaming, and now we've hit the somber "what's the point?"apathy part. Until the devs do something for our profession that energizes us, I don't think it'll change.

I have been feeling this way for a while and have decided whats best for me is too leave this forum for a while, I am sorry to the few here who may actually care lol
I have been watching this forum for weeks slowly fall into a pit of apathy. Many of the people who placed alot of time and effort have left, either banned or by they're own choice. MCH's who helped build this game when it was just a websitetheninto beta and beyond. Long gone and forgotten.
Everday the same questions over and over, same answers over and over. teach a man to fish feed him for a day. you all know the rest. how many people could have just used the search bar or even went to the second or 3rd page for the common answers they seek. or better yet play the game and learn as I did.
All the while important threads like mount enhancements, corals thread(wasnt always stickied), profession specific pets, pet armor, pet specials, and a dozen more get buried into the past. only to be bumped up by the same people. "yes" thats you talon and siobabble lol thers a few more no offense if no kudo's are sent I and you know who you are lol
I was actually here prior to my reg date, long story ...
I have watched this forum cheer during happy times and call for war during the bad times but one thing I always liked was the creativity mixed with passion that grew here. it really did seem as though we were all a community everyone wanting the best for the profession. Not what was best for them personally. was once a time that even though it wasn't good for your game style you understood it was best and agreed.
Today its the individual goals and gameplay that matter, community seems just a word. justifications and excuses seem the rational response to much here. I could give you several examples but do not wish to have a flame war lol
I am notleaving the game nor the ch profession, just the ch forum. Its too sad to watch the same fluff day in and day out. it would seem that creativity is lacking of late and truthfully my idea of a positive discussion is trading ideas of something that may benefit all here even non-ch's than debating moral and ethical issues not mention the ever so wonderful template questions and best pet questions. . .
This is not written with anyone person or personsin mind. I sincerely say that I have no ill will or mean to offennse anyone.
I shall always enjoy the days of old and maybe thats my problem lol I was always a solo type personality but enjoyed grouping with people and making so many friends that people actually got a little jealouse lol and a few short spats broke out untill each party was spanked and realised they could also be friends lol damn I miss alot of those people ingame :-( . many left long ago. Today a group is a means to an end.
Time for me to step away and let the new blood take this forum and probably the game into a new direction, not that i was a leader here or held any great infuence. My ego is not that large lol

I feel you though bro. I was so negatve there for a while I was taking my bad vibes out on anybody. I still do at times, but man I realized how much I appreciate everyone on this board and how much I want to try to help.
Take a break though, it helps.

Now that Publish 19 has come out it's time for the Jedi profession to come together and construct ideas as to what needs to be done to make us a little more viable again. I understand that there are tons of Jedi out there now and that the Dev's need to balance us. Heals are one thing that have hurt us. Our Corro needs to try and communicate our ideas and let us know where everything is headed so we can try and help put Jedi in the direction it needs to go.

Hopefully he will come out iwth something tomorrow to let us know whats up. Then we can start to give him ideas of what he/we can try to get fixed. We need to stop compaining about the things that are happening and try to start producing constructive ideas.
