Thread: Medic 0020 or pistols 0004?

Does anyone have a link to information or information regarding Medic 0020 healing output? With and without bio clothes and tapes. I'm MBH/SMUG/Pistols 0004. I would consider dropping pistols if there is good enough incentive to. I do both jedi and npc missions. I can take a 35k ham double gold elite but it takes a stack and a half of stims a stack of ruby bliel and 10 minutes +. I can hold my own against most jedi and win occasionallybut usually I get rolled over when my stomach is full. Any opinons? I don't want to be a FoTM templateand I love smuggler so it's either or.

I have the same template as yours. With good Stim-D's, ruby bliel and proper use of food, equipment and buffs I have never had need of Medic skills - even against boss marks.


However, I have found Stopping Shot to be extremely useful not only against bounty marks but in all combat. When you meet a mark that likes to use Charge Shot on you, you'll be glad you can root him. When a critter is coming after you, you'll be glad you can stop it in its tracks and finish it off before it gets to you. And unlike the Smuggler root, Stopping Shot does not break when the target takes damage. Used properly, both roots will let you control multiple mobs more effectively.


My verdict? Keep Stopping Shot - get better stims and use the right foods. You can put more states on your target than a map of New England, used properly you can really minimize the amount of damage a target can do unto you.

I am MBH, Mcarb, Pistols 0003 and Medic 0020. With med 0020 I heal for around 500. With aitha, a drink that gives 17 healing efficiency I heal for aroun 850. With a BE bando (15 healing eff) I would top 1000, and another 10 eff from SEAs, I could probly do around 1100. Thats 1100every 5 seconds or so, and I can attack in between. So assuming I am getting pounded to death by a light stick I can heal 1100, Adv Crit, heal 1100, adv Crit and so on until I run out of mind. With spiced tea (I believe thats it) my mind last pretty long. Throw in stims and bliel just incase and you have healing that can last as long as the jedi's force. I used to have pistols 0404 and melee def from FS. I think it was a good trade in.
