Bounty Hunter Archive

Just a thought I haven't seen anyone else say. One way to implement the bounties is to have someone actually have to pay the amount set. If you set a bounty, you have to pay the amount you set it for, which will cut down on people posting bounties just to post them, since you will have to set it high enough to attract hunters skilled enough to take down your target.

There could also be an option for leaders of a PA to hire a bounty hunter to act as a mercenary in a PA war, with a specific amount of credits given for every time he kills a member of the other PA. The amount could be either negotiated at hiring or posted on like the bazaar just like weapons. If this works, it could also encompass other low life careers like Smugglers into the merenary aspect of it.

I had some more thoughts, but i cant remember them right now. Hope this is easy to understand, but I'm tired so it might be pretty incoherent to every other than me. If part of it is hard to get, then just post a reply asking and Ill get back asap. Also, I'd appreciate feedback. Thanks

We both joined for it. Just don't expected it. There are alot of BH bug to fix first. Not to mention a non grief player bounty system. We do have jedi atleast *yawn

yeah but what I gather my bounty hunter gadgets are no good there, and I have to rely on god knows what to find them.

Whats going on with pvp bounties? now that player cities and such are out I would really like to see a push for this by our correspondant. DOnt say its too hard because it was in the beta, so most of the code is allready there! Whats going on? is it on their "to do list" have they even thought about it? IT is after all, and it was with most ppl. the reason I joined the game in the first place.

As much as every bounty hunter wants PvP bounties, chances are the dev's will never put it in, save jedi bounties, but here is an idea.

players should be able to put bounties on other players and set their price.... maybe people would be nicer if they new for the right price you can have them killed..

only if it is an 'opt-in' system. the current jedi/bh system is an example of why this won't work otherwise. you think it's bad with just jedi trying to get bh nerfed, how would you like every profession to come scream nerf when they get killed. because that is exactly what will happen.

pvp in this game comes down to who has the most uber weapon / sea's / armor / food spice combo, then which macro you run. as such, it's not a lot of fun for the majority of the game's population.
