i'm rifle /BH /healing

i hold myself well against Mdef, but i get my but slap against Msaber.

Keep reading a lot about how MCM is great against jedi if you play it well.

Was wandering if MCM works also great against NPC marks, because i do more of these than jedi in my spare time (the loot are just great right now)

So should i go with MCM or stick with my rifle?

Go with MCM.

I am a MBH, MCM, Pistols 0103 and I kill boss marks just as easily as I did when I was MBH, MCarb, CM 4000. Takes only 5 minutes or so on the 36k ham bosses. You will love MCM.

Iwas MBH/M Pistols/CM4000 for a long time, and although I could kill CL82 36k HAM boss marks, my mind was usually drained. I changed my template to MBH/MCM/Pistols 0004, and nowI have absolutely NO trouble whatsoever - my mind rarely gets below halfwhile fightinga boss mark. The only thing I miss is the extra speed from Master Pistols, but if you get some speed attachments for your weapon of choice, you probably won't even notice it. Either way, I love this template and would not go back.

Don't pay attention to jedi's spreading rumors about devs changing things on MCM. It's not happening because there's no reason to. Jedi's need to learn how to fight MCM's and adjust their templates accordingly. We do for them. They are whining because they are losing to MCM's and they don't want to change their templates from their MDef/MLS FTW's.

If they nerfed our healing, then they would have to do the same for MDocs and Jedi's themselves. Our healing isn't overpowered and anyone that says it is has never playeda MCM before. Change to MCM...it will be around.

Bottom line: Jedi's won't be happy until they can hit us with their "I win" and "uber" sabers for 10,000 damage in 0.5 seconds from the other side of the planet.

....and it's freakin sad.

I really wouldn't worry about that to be honest. I think the biggest complaint is about the healing ability of CM dabblers (the fact that CM4000 = MCM in terms of healing capability), so if they were to nerf anything, it would be to reduce the amount of healing that dabblers can do. But honestly, I don't see that happening anytime soon. After theyimproved CM, I was certain that they would nerf it pretty soon after that. But now that they've left the changes in place, I'm starting to think they'reworking on improving non-Jedi combat professions in general(just take a look at the upcoming SL changes).

I would go for it if I were you. MCM is a very powerful profession, and it's hella fun to play as well (assuming you know what you're doing, but that goes for any profession). If they do nerf it for whatever reason, it doesn't take long to grind out a new profession. Heck, it took me less than 5 hours to grind from CM4000 to MCM.
