Thread: ADK: which BH weapon?

I’ve have decided touse my ADK on my BH toon, but I want to make sure I make the best (most damage)choice of weapon. I was thinking the ‘Proton Carbine’.


My combat template is Master Bounty Hunter/ Master Doctor. (pre-CU not /respec)
I have other toons with different combo professions, so changing the template is not an option.


Any suggestions/advice in this matter would be greatly appreciated.



I will display the "Test Center" icon until SWG is bug free.

Proton Carbine is a good weapon....


Don't matter really. Use it on the best one you have. If you find a better weapon...just reclaim your adk (destroying the weapon in the process however) and apply it on the new weapon.

Proton Carbine has too low of damage and too high of SAC to be worth ADKing. Pick up a damage capped Heavy Lightning Rifle/Adv Laser Rifle for energy damage or a FWG5/HC Scatter for kinetic. The rifles cap around 1186 and the pistols around 966 and you can easily get a SAC of 82 for rifles or 66 for pistols without a PUP.

That's really good to know, I didn't realize you could 'recalim' your ADK, I thought it was a one time deal.

I have to say the trandoshan hunting rifle is really nice rifle. Its almost all I use.

If you're gonna use the weapon for jedi hunting you want a high min damage rather than a high max with low min.

I would say any weapon made with the high accuracy scopes that dont drop anymore. Or a good assault bowcaster. The Energy weapons just suck vs PSG so I usually stick to kinetic.

YES! If you can get ahold of one of those bowcasters that converted well, use those suckers. 1200 max dmg kinetic gun, unf.
