Well....i am grinding up the investigation branch in BH but i have had much trouble since i have learnt investigation 2. I now have to track off planet targets, i send off an arakyd probe droid to track my mark, get the planetary info back and travel to that planet. I then travel to the wp given to me when i land on the planet but....this is the trouble, i get there and my mark is not there he has not spawned....i can't find a way around this as at investigation 2 i only have the ability to identify target with seeker droids i cannot yet track target. Does anybody have any information that can help me ?...it is so frustrationg after several attempts
Thanks.

Not sure if it's something you want to consider, but it's best to get the xp for both Investigation 1 and 2 before training in them. That way all the missions are on the planet. Not that this is great news, but perhaps you may want to consider giving up and relearning Investigation 1, so you can get all the xp for Investigation 2 easier.
Other than that, no suggestions.

dump inv 1 & 2 and go back to the tat grind until you max out inv xp, then train inv 1 AND 2 that will put you around 50% complete on inv 3 before you even need a droid.
simple procedure.
get mish from mos eisley term.
shuttle to mos espa and see informant in back streets near garage at edge of town.
get signature and head out of town just far enough to launch arak droid.
the second you program it, race back to the starport and start selecting a destination, be ready to select and travel once the screen tells you where mark is (the idea is to get traveling before the droid looses track of the target)
when you arrive on the target planet you will then loose the target, travel to the wp.
(some things to be aware of during this time)
Never stop moving till you get to the wp, Ive found if I can get from the starport on the target planet to the wp without using a shuttle or my ship (bike or speeder only) 8 times out of 10 the mark is there waiting for me at the first wp(tho not alwaysAT the WP!!!!) if the distance is over 6k.. take the shuttle, your travel time on bike will then outweigh any benefit of not having to track the tgt.
if you follow the WP's till the probe wont update anymore and the mark is not there, simply scan the horizon with your eyes and the tab button, pan a full 360 degrees while tapping the tab button, if the mark is within 150m he'll show up as a target (the mark will not be right at the wp 50-60% of the time)
for the seekers you will have to use locate until you get to inv4 (now theres a suckie grind) and track becomes available (dont get too excited, I can't really say if its any better then locate currently, since it takes a tracker twice as long to report back on the marks whereabouts, and they have such a high lockfailure rate, that it may take less time to track with locators)
stopping your motion will kill a tracker lock, reaction time seems to play a part in tracking success (start moving the second your wp updates, your mark will move less and your tracker lock will be more successful)
really the fastest missions will come when you do nothing but the mission, from the time you launch the arak till you kill the mark, keep moving, moving and moving, stop for 5 minutes and your mark will be on the other side of the planet, costing you more time and probes.
Check your PMs, i am on your server, and will be on tonight in about 3.5 hours from this post. I will walk you through a mission if you need me to
