I'm trying to find out if there is interest/demand for fully energy layered recon armor. I've made a test batch and came up with the following results, but before I try to make a larger run I need to know if it would be worth it.
That being said, here are the stats:
Kin 3965 (----really low I know)
Energy 7721 (slicingshould easily push this to well over the 8k mark)
Elemental 5843 (slicing should easily push this to max value of 6k)
Condition at 47.9k
Hindrances are: Movement= -19.4%
Accuracy= -38.9%
Rate of Fire = -58.3%
Is there even a 'market' for it with the kin value so low?
The cores that went into these test Ubese pieces could go into any other recon armor ending with the same resist stats, such as tantel and factional recon armor (once they fix the bug with the factional armor)
Any comments or suggestions?

maybe try to increase the kin value and decrease the rate of fire, but this is only a thought.

They are all tied together. When using energy or kin layers to increase the stats, the opposite of the 2 gets a slightly greater reduction. As for the hindrance levels, if you're a MBH (for example) than any hindrance 60% or lower is meaningless since you get the 60% armor mitigations at master. Slicing armor increases the hindrance levels, and in this case would push it over the 'free' zone (so to speak) and that is when you'd notice a reduction of attack speed. HOWEVER, if you're lucky enough to get a speed slice on a weapon, that would cancel out the loss from the armor in most cases.

This armor would be great jedi hunting armor... a LS is energy, and a jedi isnt going to know your armor has crap for kinetic resists, so you dont need to worry about kinetic. the ROF hinderance is a big drawback because when its sliced it will actually affect you(and no, speed slicing your weapon wont fix this)...
is there any way of doing this to comp armor?

I quad layered Comp (assault) to test this and energy resists comes out worse then unlayered battle.
And some jedi like to pull out FWGs, Nyms slugs or sick Tusken rifles
Hinderences are not something the smith can tweak. The better the resources may effect the amount of hinderences a tiny bit but I haven't noticed.
Energy layered recon IS BH armor. Imo Comp is out to lunch and shouldn't ever be usedon player bountys but its great for pve.
