Thread: Targets too high for the mission level

I am a beginner BH. Right now I'm level 24. I did 2 or 3 level 18 bounty hunter missions, killed the target, and everything was fine.. The next one I accepted was also level 18, but when i got to the target it was level 44... I did one more that was normal, and i just had 3 in a row that were level 32 targets... Am I doing something wrong? Or is it just the luck of the draw....

It's pure luck. No idea if this is a bug or not, but regardless of the actual mission levels the targets I have seen range from CL18 to CL54.
Best thing to do is to leave the Investigation tree until you have trained up the other trees and any other combat profession you might haveand got your CL to 55 or more.
I have never seen a mark over CL54.
The only thing the mission level seems to affect is the payout (with level 99 being the highest and paying from about 32700 - 33k).

we shouldnt have to leave it till the last thing to grind..and i got a 73 one tonight about 30 minutes ago ...bug or no bug they need to make it where Bounty hunter can grind the invest tree at any level...remember the CU was to "balance" the game

With a good amount of healing in your template, you can take down targets 5-10 CL's above you if you're VERY VERY careful. I took down a CL43 bounty with a CL36 toon that had novice CM.
