Thread: Question about investigation XP

Why i am here today is to ask about investigation xp, while i was away from the game, my little brother took over my account and during the Respecs he gave me MBH/MCarbineer. For his birthday i bought him the Total Experience so we could play together, i immediately changed to TKM/MFencer/4000 Doc for preference. But now i think i would like to grind BH and do the temp MBH/MRifleman/0404 Pistoleer.


Does anyone know how investigation xp is calculated now per mission? I know a LONG time ago is was the investigation xp was 2% of the mission payout. What is it now? Is it like 5%, 10%, etc., or is it still 2%?

hmmm all i know is it goes like 5missions for first box 10for second 20for third and so on, just roughly, i did it a while ago but it took me forever with so many bugged missions, although i would suggest getting some of these new droids that give planet aswell, droid speed so slow tracking untill about box 3 that going to every planet will take you hours to find a bounty

thanks, ya i had a friend get to invest 3 then say "screw BH" cuz of all the bugged missions hehe

Its 2% for NPC missions and about 3.3% for jedi.

Have quite recently done the BH grind on another toon. Dont know the %, but the 5 mission, 10 mission, 20 mission sounds close. I do remember that when I got inv2 the highest missions were paying about 17k and giving 460-480 xp (with an inspiration buff) - that would make it slightly over 20 missions for get from inv2 - inv3 (10,000 xp required).


Post CU I only got 1 bugged NPC mission (you have to account for the droids not be totally accurate i.e. look on the map for your mark he should be within 128m of wp, if you get a mark in the sea or a lake just wait a few minutes for your seekers to update and they usually update a wp on land, not seen one in a tree or house Post CU), I actually started to quite enjoy the NPC grind and ended up with 0.5 million in the bank when I had finished all missions.

I mastered pre-CU, so I dont really know how it is now. I'd get like,400 a mission though, if I remember right. And I did around 22k...but that was a long time ago, so Icould be wrong.
