So there I was at 12am last night. In Kaadara trying to find a good Jedi to hunt who was online and not on Kashyyyk. After about 10 accepted missions of online Jedi I FINALLY found one who was on Rori. "EXCELLENT!!" I think to myself, and I am off to see the wizard.
I shuttled into MOP, took some quick buffs, and was back out in a few min. Upon landing on Rori, I released my tracking droid who quickly informed me the mark was in a city with a shuttleport! Having that citie's shuttle waypoint already in my datapad I found out the mark was only about 30m from it. "How very convenient for me, that I don't have totravel far for this one"I thought.
Normally when I hunt I show up in the general vicinity wearing "street clothes" and with no profession tag flying over my head and attempt to blend in, but it was late and aggravated by the terminals and Kashyyykian afk'ers, so I decided that a direct approach just might be appropriate.
I shuttled into the city, saw the Jedi speaking with a group of friends. He wasn't a full template yet, so I examined him to see what "normal' professions I might be dealing with during combat. Found out that he used to be a M Marksman, MBH, and a doctor at one point. Not knowing if was a rifleman/carbineer/pistoleer jedi, I watched him and his conversations for a few min before attacking. Nothing seemed amiss, and he hadn't noticed me. I let loose with a root which stuck, then proned and sniper/head/critcal/sniper at which point he was healing himself. When the root unstuck he ran inside a private cantina.... *here comesthe aggravation*
This mark spent about 5 minutes in the cantina while I patiently watched him, but knowing my foods were going to be failing and some of the buffs were waning. And what was the mark doing in the cantina you might ask? Not hiding... he was getting fully buffed/fooded/spiced up. Then he proceed to take pot shots at me with his rifle while coming in and out of the door jamp. I spatially said "screw this" and disengaged after I rooted him and started off for the long haul to another shuttle (since I had just been banned). I was content to let this one go since I couldn't obvioulsy shoot him through the walls he was hiding behind.
Well this mark had guts, he followed me, and we played a deadly cat and mouse game through the city, ducking behind houses, taking shots at each other when the opportunity arose. Myself being throughly disgusted by this Jedi and his lame private building exploit was just trying to leave, vowing to kill him when he was not in his "protected reserve." I actually got away from him, but I was quickly found by a search party on bikes, giving me the normal "you suck, you noob respecer"
So now, foods were gone, I popped a few more, spice was on a downer, and the buffs were up. On the other hand, this mark had full health, full buffs, full food, and full spices. Not wanting to completely walk away from the open challenge he represented, I got to a clearing in the houses and stood my ground. At this point, I didn't care if I died.... I just wanted to be away from the situation.
As imagine, this mark killed me, not because I didn't outdamage him. Infact, I checked the combat log and did well over 30k damage to him during our sturggle, while he only dealt out a paltry 8k damage. My dimished ability to heal vs Jedi Healer coupled with the exploit via using the cantina is what killed me.
After the fight, and being laughed at, spit on, and verbally accosted I sent the following message: "I'd tell you that you fought well, which would be the truth since you were able to kill me, however had you not used that exploit, you'd have been dead where you stood."
The message I got back was "Exploit? You exploited me, by attacking me when I was talking to my friends and not ready"
So the point of this story..... Is there ANYTHING from the devs related to fixing this MAJOR issue with the private house exploit?

12am.... That was right about the time that you jumped me at the MOP. I had a butt load of wounds from trying out space for the first time and they were just healed, I was about to head home when BAM I am getting attacked. You almost had me in your first set of volleys. I was trying to target you and kept getting some stupid NPC assassin. So when I tried to heal it was telling me "You cant heal that target." I was just able to pull off a self target, heal, and begin to battle back. I gotta say that I have not had a BH fight in about 2 weeks, I was running at the first sign of a dot for a while I just had a streak of wanting no PVP, but man this fight got my blood pumping and actually got me a little excited about the game again. Once again good fight. Sorry about the other Jedi house jumping to shoot at you (hiding is one thing but that wasn't right). And I just hope healing doesnt get hit up too hard or I will be toast real quick for you next time!

Jeredu.... that WAS a good fight. I forgot all about that when I wrote the story above!
I don't care win or lose, it's the hunt that gets me going. The end result when you sent me "well fought" was a nice surprise to end things. I often get accosted with some ridiculous refernce to being a noob respec BH.

AHHH, you used my name! Now every n00b respec hunter is gonna be coming to pwn me! (Is that how the l337 speak thing works?) But seriosuly, yes great fight, and I always tell my hunters (win or lose) good fight. Because it takes guts for you guys to come after a mark not knowing what kind of battle it is going to be. (I just wish there was no XP loss for us, then I would fight BHs all day and not DB and not worry about anything but having fun). Oh well back to the grind tonight. I will be on Hoth all night so dont come hunting me anyone!
