I am curious as to when pub 19 hits and some bh probably will go 4000 combat med will they still be able to keep root? or will they have to trade off? I think with out a root shoot thats a big disadvantage for a bh

Dont think so. Right now I'm MBH/MR/4-0-0-0CM/0-3-0-0Force Reflex with no sp left. Without the force sensitive skill I would only have 3 sp left. Not enough for even Novice Pistoleer or Smuggler

let me say this again.........there arent enough skill points for root shot from pistoleer if you are MBH MR and CM.
however, you can be MBH MP CM 4000 and use a laser rifle and do the SAME damage as a rifleman with a t21

Not really. CM 0001 has a snare. CM 0003 has paralyze AND an improvement in snare. That line also has slows. Granted, you have to take your chances by coming close to the target, but there you go. If you can get the paralyze to stick then snare them, then move out of 32m you've as good as won.

the only shot that does not break on damage is root, so as soon as you snare it breaks paralize. Not having a root is not a disadvantage unless your mark is running for his house.

And that's fine, because at that point the damage is already done. The target is snared, whereas if they resist, paralyze isn't broken yet-I believe that's the case.I can't state that with 100% certainty, but that's how it was explained to me. You know about how long it'll take for snare to wear off. Re-paralyze and re-snare when it's getting close to time for snare to wear off---if your target's still alive at that time.

Not really. IF they have CM 4004, they may as well toss the rest of the package in. Action regen drain, mind regen drain, some vicious dots, and lowered state defenses. CM's are very underestimated, IMO.

looks like everyone will have to adjust their combat aproach. I wil be depending more on food and patience.
