Thread: CSR-JonW
csr-jonw. Csr-jonw, the best csrt ever, was fired due to a "Reduction In
Staff." Do you think that SOE had to reduce the staff because the CU was a
huge, overwhelming success? Or the other? LOL
Also, JonW had this to say, "I wouldn't count on getting a ticket answered
correctly inside of a week anymore, if ever. There were over 3000 when I
left last nite." To everyone who thinks that the game is improved now . .
.you really are kidding yourselfs.

So - SOE hires people to provide customer service. A playerexodus takes place and continues to increase in regularity in an upward spiral. An expansion is released, more bugs encountered, more people leave... and they let go of the CS agents?
NICE.
JonW may want to spell yourselves right next time

If he was laid off, it may be a cost cutting/outsourcing move by SOE. It would make sense for them to outsource all of their games under one roof, instead of a csr for each server in all their games.
But I've been on the short end of the layoff stick before, and it bites.
yes it would make sense. and it does bite to be on the short end of the layoff stick.
Being laid off, JonW may also have an axe to grind. As does this player on Ahazi that posted this. We will never know the real answers to why he was let go.
