Thread: What is a really good bounty hunter/Doctor weapon?

Hello all i'm a bounty hunter doctor. Yes i kill and i heal. Right now i'm using the proton carbine. I really like the weapon, does alot of damage and for my purposes is a great weapon. In groups i usually focus on healing so don't attack much. So the proton works really great if i do need to attack in combat. But sometimes i can't find my friends online so i'll just do a mark or two or just solo some stuff and was curious for a BH/Doc what is the best weapon since i won't have anything other then bounty hunter and my level for prerequisites for a weapon. Like i said i'm happy with proton carbine just curious if there is a better weapon out there.

If you know a good WS, you might be able to get a High Capacity Scatter Pistol made that can outdamage your Proton...BUT, with the devs working on elemental damage the Proton Carbine might well turn out to be the best weapon for your template when the next publish comes out at the end of the month.

If you want to use a pistol and have some credits, I recommend finding a good weaponsmith to make you a good Featherweight FWG5 with some high quality Gorax tissues. You can get those over 950 max dmg (I think 966 is the cap) and up to +32 accuracy. Also, there's no cert on them other that lvl 54.
The only thing is that on my server they're going for anywhere from 2.5-5mil credits.

Thanks guys, i know a few weaponsmith's i might try out your suggestions.
