Now that we have our bomb droids I'd love to see some other types of gadgets. I had many ideas back in the day for bolos and such that do knockdown...they would be a perishable item....so basically one shot, one knockdown. I think it would be cool if you had some type of inventory leech as well.....basically you'd have to be within 5meters and you'd have a certain percentage of leeching a random item from the targets inventory.....that would really make things interesting....especially if you allowed Jedi to use it as well...force leech or something......it may be an incentive to fight......I don't know but I like the idea of different gadgets.

stealing items would never be allowed, i can see it now, jedi cloaks, walks up, uncloaks, steals my scatter pistol, cloaks and runs off. what can i do?

The problem would be implementation.......those glorious programmers that probably got hired right out of college just didn't pay attention in Programming 101 and would allow that to happen......through an exploit. I have no faith in the programming skills of anyone involved with this game.....they don't follow any fundamentals of prioritizing, tracking, and elliminating bugs. It's pretty embarrassing to those of us with programming backgrounds.
