Now this patch is less than 12hrs old, and nothing but sniviling..

MAN UP,
1.. No master scout/marksman needed anymore..
2. no Master marksman/4000 scout needed anymore,...

What else, is needed...
MAN UP.. get some guts.. BH's Have the ELITE content in this game. IF you are a BH with no money invested in good armor, weapons, skill tapes, food..
you are gonna get destroyed..
NOW if you MAN up, get some high powered gear, elite weapons, top notch food. Some CA/AA's to increase your game, then yeah, it is gonna hurt, but if you go after any slime bag jeti with your 10k scatter, you are gonna get the smack down put on you..

1. Bomb Droid. the big one..goes first.
2. Death from afar.. Long range..
3. Stealthy first strike,
if you cant get it done with what we have, then you need to get a new job.
If you cant run with the big dogs, you need to stay on the porch

how many missions have you taken and completed since pub 20 went live?

and your list of three... it's rubbish. may be good tactics sometimes but you make it sound like if you dont do that you will lose. i didnt use a bomb droid and i definitly didnt get a sneaky first strike. I still managed to kill the MDefender/MLS/heal3000/enh0002 FOTM BS. with no healing but stimpacks.

I've got mid 5k armor, proton carbine, no skilltapes, and 2 foods (ruby bliel and kujo swirl or whatever).

Yeah, i've posted 2 threads complaining about stuff. Stuff that they said and didnt happen like no offline jedi and getting the jedi name after using your seek command.

I have taken 3 missions, 1 was a level 60, so i just did to incap, (kinda fast)
1 was a level 80 full template.. Just hammered him down, he wasnt buffed and only had food so kinda long, but went down.
Last 1 was a level 80 MDEF.With some LS.. He took a ton of punishment, AND instead of the normal food, he had the mando wine, +spice+some other food.. Most formadable, BUT i caught her by surprise while dueling in CORO.. Sent in bomb droid, i had out, hit him in middle of his duel, (with cohort) so partner kept dueling till jeti hit end duel, but still by then i suppose he was mid force left, but i just hammered him from a distance. ME i took the acc food, mando wine, spice, had doc buff, and regen buff + had jeti put infusion on me before i started.. I layed down my most effective combo initially, for first 30-40 sec, considering my regen rate was high, and forced jeti to fiight+heal.. MORE importantly kept her on her back, so she would have to do the KD Recovery..(uses action).. Snare+root. and distance are your friends.. She had no saber throw, (didnt get hit with it).. Soo have to use what she didnt have against her..
BUT with all that, even her doing AI, i still lost../frown BUT still can be done.. LONG fight..
Weapon of choice, kinda a secret, but lets say it was made pre-cu, a FELTON LTD.. Limited edition.

NOW my jedi on the other hand, in actual BH engangement, i have never lost.. BUT in duels, i get my 6 handed to me at times.. It isnt the run in and gun. But strategy..
Not ever full template jeti has ever pvped.. Nor has every full template fought enough to know his own weaknesses..
And to further my point Not every jeti out there is the MDEF+0404 sabers.. WE ALL NEED TO unlearn the strategy of run up to wp, and go full blown attack. Any idget can do that, you have to have patience, gear, and knowledge.. Not brute force..

PS.. all it takes is for you to catch any jeti out in the open, STATE him up, and use tactics.. CITY fighting is actually in our favor considering the LINE OF SIGHT..You will start seeing more and more jeti run. If you got into this profession to just make money, WRONG CHOICE.. TO control jedi population, DEFINETLY WRONG CHOICE. But to provide yourself with living breating targets, who are unpredictable, cunning (sometimes), ruthless. Then this is the profession for you.!

EVerybody on the GCW forum want jedi REMOVED FROM THE GCW altogether!!! So they can only fight Light jedi vs dark. Why didn't publish 20 have THAT in IT??? Just because theyt grind for 1 million xp points? so whats just let ever player respec to jedi and put an end to the astronomical XP req for Jedi. THEN KICK THEIR SORRY BUTTS out of the GCW and make them Just have a Light vs darkside war only.

POST publish 20 these glowbat weilding 9 year olds can just camp coronet starport and carve upo anybody who loads in(like they have been for a year) and we cant find them on terms with no name. How is THAT not greifing? There IS NOTHING POSITIVE about that so don't damn well tell me to look on the bright side.

I got 2 out of 4 last night since the new system. one low one finished template, the other to I failed becasue I got in a rush. Now I do not like the fact I got the Marks name when I am less than 100 meters from them so much for the sneak attack.

I love this patch. I've had a Novice BH (CL19-21) sitting on ice for a while now because every single BH mission he took off the terminals (lowest mission level, at "Mission Difficulty 15") gave him a mark that had a minimum of CL54.

Since I didn't feel like I should have to master a completely different combat profession just to take low level BH missions, I'm very happy that the mission CL bug was fixed with Pub20.

As for the BH's whining about Jedi...please make it stop. For every posted complaint about Jedi being over powered or favored by the devs (duh, it's Star Wars), I see a post about someone taking down full-templated Jedi... not to mention the many examples of lower level Jedi that get raped 3 times a day - usually by the same BH. How exploitative...

IMO, 1 on 1, a Jedi having to go up against a BH should come out on top pretty much every time - unless the Jedi is caught completely unprepared. The onus should be on the BH to ensure that they do some actual 'investigation' to find out when/how best to approach and attack their mark. I never want to see a day when BHs can just log on, hit the terminal, take a mission, fire off droids, hop on a swoop and just run and gun another player's character down. You want the ability to do that kind of hurt to another player, then I hope you must spend a ton of time and effort (and credits) to prepare for such an undertaking. And you better not think that you're *always* going to win - because if you get that impression, then the game is broke, and Jedi need to be strengthened or BH nerfed.

It's a bit odd I'm saying this now that I'm playing my first BH character, but you can't swing a cat without hitting 12 BHs these days, and I'm hoping they make Smugglers or Jedi (or ...dramatic pause.. Rangers!) some sort of BH population control mechanism. Anyway, I like Pub 20 so far. I'm having a blast just beating up on NPCs, one contract at a time.

It's not odd for you to be saying it at all - you're obviously jumping on the bandwagon yourself. Funny thing is, onsome servers, that cat would hit just as many Jedi as BH. Coming in and saying the new system is great when you haven't even reached a stage where you canhunt Jedi doesn't lend much weight to your opinion.

I agree with a few exceptions. BHs should be able to take bounties from one faction against the other, but there should be no FP requirements (nor should any be awarded). They should be able to switch between faction jobs at will, but never truly belong to either side. The hard part is in the coding for something like that, tho...
