Greetings members of the Bounty Hunter Forum.
I've been thinking of a template and been wondering if it would work. I'm afraid that it would be gimped, but I'm not sure.
What if you had a Master Pistoleer/Master Riflemen/Novice Bounty Hunter with all thier pre-reqs, Bounty Hunter Pistol/Rifle 3, and Investigation 1?
From whatI grasp of the game so far, it seems like this would create a Bounty Hunter is who superiour in Ranged Combat but lacking in the droid aspect. Also it seems like I wouldn't be able to access all of the Bounty Hunter missions since I don't have investigation 3...
Does this sound like it would work? If so what order would I get the skills? I'm thinking I'd stick with Pistols then do Rifles but I don't know.
Please post advice/suggestions or any answers of any kind.
Thanks in advance,

Depends on what you want to hunt. If you want to hunt low level NPC's, you'd be ok, but if you want to hunt jedi you have to master. Or if you just want to have a non hunting template then give it a shot and see how it works. looks good on paper anyway

If you're intending to hunt jedi you need MBH now, Invest 1 seems pointless to me, am I missing something?

I'm thinking I'd prefer to hunt down Jedis.
What do you think would be better against Jedis, Pistols or Rifles?
I could do Master Marksman / Master Bounty Hunterwith either:
Master Pistoleer/ Novice Rifleman- Sniping or Concealment 3
or
Master RIfleman / Novice Pistoleer- Grip or Marksmanship 3
Or do you think that none of the above sounds good?
Oh, and is it just the tracking aspect that makes it unable to hunt Jedis without master Bounty Hunting?
As said before advice and suggestions are much appreciated.

Oh, I thought you just needed the bonus to Bounty Mission Difficulty that you got from Ivestigation 1,3, and Novice Bounty Hunter that affected that.

the first increase unlocks marks on different planet (at novice they are all on the planet you get the mission from)
the second increase that was at Invest 3 was for jedi mission
Patch 20 changed it, now MBH is required for jedi missions.

Oh now thats gay, lets kill roleplaying.
I mean really, that takes the fun out of roleplaying, why be creative and create a Bounty Hunter that is more combat orientated that isn't a Master and Bounty Hunting but get the skills required to Bounty Hunt? Why be a Pistoleer Bounty Hunter, not ever touch a carbine and role play a gunslinger who wouldn't touch a rifle if his life depended on it? Oh, no reason at all, roleplaying is for noobs anyways.
Well, I guess I can still roleplay, I will just have to waste a lot of time using weapons that I will never ever use once I master my character just so that I can Roleplay how I want to.
