Possibility...

1. Keep faction shown

2. SHow online status According to the devs while the publish was on TC, all missions generated SHOULD be for online Jedi. They could go offline after getting the mission, but shouldn't be offline when you take it. This is obviously bugged.

3. Show Jedi's name so we know if they go offline when we are tracking them. Unlike now where they could go offline and we'd never know You get the name from the seeker droid, though it may take a few times (also bugged). As a BH, I'm okay with this, as long as the missions generated are for online Jedi. Once you have your seeker, you will know that they go offline, as it won't be able to track the target any more.

4. Go ahead and keep mission payout off missions so all the jedi feel safer. This is a good compromise. Avoids griefing, for those who do anything to try to do so. For the same reason, names should remain off the missions. The issue is not the player, but whether they are available for the mission. The compromise should be a fixin the availability that doesn't allow easy griefing, since the devs are so worried about the issue.

what the really need to do is fix the online/offline deamon. When someone sends a /tell you don't have 80% of your messages going nowhere because the recipient is "offline".

I really liked what someone else suggest, that you get a system message "Your mark is online/offline". Again the system that checks would have to actually work or we are no better off.

The compromise should be a fixin the availability that doesn't allow easy griefing, since the devs are so worried about the issue. there is griefing regardless no one likes to die and lose xp, thats what happens when you have an alpha class. main reason for having name when you examine mission would be so you and friend could team up, there is no point in SOE trying to force 1 vs 1 hunting if they arent gonna give us something to help take em down, because I have yet to take down a full temped jedi that knows how to play it...well actually scratch that, I mean I have taken down full temped, but not full temped with these uber damage sabers or master defender....
