I have seen this issue from both sides and as a Jedi, even I think that it's bad to see other Jedi grind this way. It really cheapens the whole grind. It's fine that Jedi can have a place that is secluded and hidden...but this is ridiculous...especially with the LOS bug. But I was thinking that the solution is so simple and easily fixed in a patch.
REDUCE THE LEVEL OF THE FERRAL WOOKIEES
Simple...no need to figure out LOS coding problems...no need to mess with respawn times or any other difficult task. If you reduce them to a point where they are longer a viable source of xp...say lvl 50 or so...many Jedi will only be able to grind there for a little while before they are forced to move on to a better source of xp. It's quite a beautiful compromise in my opinion. Newb Jedi can grind safely for a bit...but then have to leave when their combat level gets high enough.

Or just decrease the spawn rate, where after they are dead it takes a good 15 min for them to return...xp gain would be rediculously slow.

People could still AFK grind their Jedi as long as someone was kind enough to pull for them.

At first sounds good, but if you think twice, with the right template mix you can be around level 50 for a long time.

Actually, I have a jedi, and I happen to agree. Very simple and elegant solution! DO IT PLEASE!!!!
