Let me first say I love playing as a bounty hunter. It's the reason I got this game in the first place. However if this new publish goes thru I will serously consider exiting the profession. It all comes down to the same reasons others have mentioned and before the trollers start flaming read what I have to say first:
I decided for the hell of it to try a jedi mission. First one in a while because I got tired of constantly refreshing for a jedi in my skill range. Usually I went for 100-150,000 . Since this new system will force me to encounter a Full templated knight or masterI decided to try it. Got full buffs,plus food and found one for 226,000. Now I'm a MBH/MP with full heal line in CM. works really well for me and is fun to play. Found mark right by shuttleport of his town. So elemant of suprise is gone. Oh well. We fight for about 2 minutes before he killed me. Went pretty much as expected. His hits for over 1000 was too much for my heals that I alternated between spray and shot. After I went back to the town to take my shuttle back to the starport I see that I am banned. I try to talk to the jedi but him and his buddies just start laughing calling me a loser and talking trash about how much better of skill players they are.Give me a break.Only if we were on true equal parcould he say something like that.I tried to complement him on his winbut he and his posse just kept acting like the most childish idiots I have ever seen in an online game. If this is what I have to look forward to you can have it.There is no way that a normal toon can take out a fully templatedjedi and anyone that says otherwise is full of it. Also ,I don't mind losing , that just comes with the territory. But the actions I have constantly gotten from the types of people that play jedi make me want to have nothing to do with them. Soe really needs to look into how a person becomes a jedi because these type of players are a disgrace to an online game and should never be given the honorable title of jedi.

You are going to get that type of behavior in any MMO you play. I've played SWG, WOW, COH and EQ2 and I have seen childish morons on all of them.

I joined this game to play as a bounty hunter. With this new patch this is what i see in future. I walk up to a terminal, get a random mission.. walk around for an hour finding my target, find it and realize... crud its full template.. or ... crud its newbie and not worth my time. Either way my time is completly wasted, and full templates are invincable (don't you dare say BH's are going to solo them, thats just extremely rare.. and almost nonexistant) add this to the fact that most jedi run for their lives anyway.. and run into building's you can't enter or hover over the water where you can't do a thing.. It's already hard enough, this makes it impossible. And btw all you pathetic Jedi who are standing behind this, you became a jedi knowing it was going to happen, and now you whine and cry.. This game has redefined jedi from hardcore warriors to cry babies who run the nearest offlimits building and then whine in tells and on the boards.. YOUR THE MOST POWERFUL CLASS.. deal with it. If you all maxed exp you wouldn't have a point to playing the game anyway.. so this patch will not only make the BH's quit, but a lot of jedi once nothing is left to acomplish. Also SWG is going to just become jedi galaxie, because whose not going to be one... in fact who isn't going to be full template? Theres no challenge in being a jedi anymore. If anything just put a limit on how many people can have a certain strength jedi's mission at a time to avoid "gank" or pick a jedi based onthe groups combined strength,but forcing 1v1 is completly ridiculous especialy if you don't know what your hunting (Be very quiet, im hunting... actualyI don't have a clue what I'm hunting.....) If you want the game to be anihilated and completly destroyed by all means go forward with the patch.. But with SWG and EQ down the tubes due to worthless updates/expacs.. sony is going to run outa games too, eq2 never was good..

Did eq2 die already ? 
Pretty much sums up my feelings. Do the people in charge have any clue what star wars is ? If you want jedi in the game, why pick the one and only time frame that jedi don't exist in to base the game with? Before or After the Empire you could put jedi in until you have sabers coming out of your a!s and it would still make sense. But no. In this game we have jedi running around imperial starports flashing lightsabers without a care in the world while wearing the most faggish crap that should have them shot on sight.Sorry, but a jedi sporting a Purple Mohawk wearing nothing but the shortest of shorts is just growse.

Do you want somecheesewith that wine... Its about time you guys got nefed! My jedi was around 120k on the terms right at the sweet spot were you guys grief that level jedi all the time. I had been hunted up to 10 times in a day. That level jedi can even defend themselves. They took so much away from jedi hell we dont even have a ranged knock down anymore. The whole game is screwed and they Dev dont care. Ohh by the way my jedi is dead he was cxld on July second. I am just posting until this account dies on the 18th. I feel great not playing SWG anymore. The only reason I posted this is because of my hate of all BH and laughing my butt off that what comes around goes around. Enjoy your nerf it wont be the last!

I've killed plenty of full template Jedi solo who were ATK. If you think I'm "full of it", there is a link to my Jedi kill photo album that has pictures of some of them. There are even more, but I didn't start taking pictures until Kill #30.
The point is, in the scenario you described in your post, you will always lose. You cannot stand toe to toe with a full template Jedi on his terms. You have to dictate when and where you fight. You don't fight them in their backyard where they're waiting for a fight. The key is timing. First Strike ability really is the only thing you have going for you when taking on a full template knight. If you don't know how to use think and use that first strike ability, then you should either quit the Jedi hunting or start using your head.

No excuse for trash talk, unless you used an exploit to kill. BUT, I will say that jedi who trash talk are usually the victims of it. WHen BH's make their kill and turn around and leave without being rude to the dead jedi, then people on this forum can start holding the feet of the jedi to the fire regarding trash talk.

I remember when visibility was borked to hell, personally I still didn't take advantage of it because a lot of paddy' shouldn't have been on there. But it was feeding time for all bh, some paddy's where -3mil plus in the hole, and hunted over 5 times a day. Can't say stay off the terms, because they shouldn't have been on there in the first place. Bounty Hunting is NOT, I repeat, NOT, a real life job, lol.

At least you knew you were losing teh ranged knockdown. All the melee profs weren't told that lunge was being nerfed. Quit bitching ass

you do not connect the part i bolded with the rest? to the casual observer it would appear that the jedi who gets upset about being killed repeatedly would be the one that doesn't realize its just a game that they can log out of at any time.....
